JEANVIDAL CURRICULUM PORTFOLIO
Jean Vidal Bachelors in Environmental Design School of Architecture University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus
My passion is for everything that I know today as architecture. The power of an architect to create, modify and change society through space fascinates me. I consider the broad learning framework offered by design is the most valuable thing in the profession. The School of Architecture was shaped my thinking, my creativity, my dedication and my perseverance. In June 2016, I traveled to Brazil. There I saw how architecture creates links between cities, countries and people. Architecture has been the perfect excuse for my growing interest in traveling, creating, researching, learning, imagining and dreaming.

CUEVAS HOUSE Calle Loíza, San Juan, Puerto Rico A house to the mexican artist and writer José Luis Cuevas. The house has two spaces of light and ventilation entrance to the housing at its ends. The predominant elements in the design are the use of the brise soleil and the skylights in the facades and in the ceiling, thus giving a different and pleasant experience to the space, through the play of lights and colors.
