WHO “LIKES” PRUDENTIAL HOMESALE? Social media continues to extend our reach as a company by branding our name, spreading good news about real estate, increasing our link authority, adding exposure for our listings and driving traffic to our website. In the second quarter of 2012 we had 5,450 visits to PrudentialHomesale.com that came from our Facebook page posts. Our company Facebook page is reaching an average of 7,636 people every month! The “reach” is what makes Facebook such a great social networking tool. For example, between July 2-8 we had 68 people talking about our posts but we actually reached 2,865 people who saw the posts. Who actually likes us and is paying attention to what Homesale has to say? According to our Facebook insights report, our highest number of likes comes from the 25-34 year old category, with our top number of users being 66.1% women. Our highest male age category is 35-44 year olds that make up 32.9% of our total users. With likes from 20 countries, the majority of our users are from the United States. The top five cities being; Lancaster, PA, York, PA, Baltimore, MD, Harrisburg, PA, and Elizabethtown, PA. These stats are not surprising, since these are our largest market areas. WHERE WILL MY LISTING APPEAR? Marketing real estate is what makes the listing visible and ultimately gets it sold. Because consumers are looking to the Internet as the #1 source of real estate, every seller wants to know where their home will appear on the Internet. Homesale has created a strong marketing mix nationally and locally and continuously works on the right search engine optimization to maximize the number of consumers who see our listings. Syndicating our listings to thousands of websites is part of the marketing mix. Delta Media Group, our website provider, displays our data on their complete customer network of over 32,600 websites. Homesale is also an active participant in sharing our listings with hundreds of other brokers. In addition, we send our listings to a large list of major portals.
