Adapting Domesticities Program: Work + Living Location: Muvattupuzha, Kerala Year: 2021 The design seamlessly integrates site-specific details, client occupation, and personal experiences to craft a customized residential space for a bike mechanic and family. The smart separation of work and living areas ensures clear privacy distinctions. The central courtyard serves as both an outdoor breakout space and a buffer, enhancing privacy and facilitating a smooth transition between work and home life in the densely populated neighborhood.

Avani Global Hub Program: Resource centre Location: Dubai Design District, UAE Year: 2022 The project involved designing a Resource Centre for Avani Institute of Design, serving as an extension unit primarily conceived as a venue for workshops and design exercises. The project places significant emphasis on circulation strategies. The exploration of organization, articulation, and configuration strategies has been carried out through compositional studies, utilizing physical models to inform the overall design. 14

Concept ideation
Fragmentation: the process or state of breaking or being broken into fragments.
Area programmes unified within a circular pavilion.
Sectors fragmented based on area programs, organized along a circulation spine positioned at the periphery.
16
Compositional study
The design aimed to achieve fragmentation by compartmentalizing programs, incorporating breaks through corridor spaces and landscaping. The overarching focus on fragmentation extended to the facade, particularly crucial in a context like Dubai’s design district, where the exterior aesthetics of the building held significant importance.

People, Form & Negotiations Program: State central library of Kerala Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Year: 2022 The design focuses on re-imagining the library with community-focused programs for wider accessibility through inclusive design and extended hours. Creating inviting spaces to strengthen the connection between the interior and exterior, fostering community engagement—a crucial aspect in countering isolation amid the prevalent 9-5 job culture. The form and facade aim to blend contemporary elements seamlessly with existing structures, utilizing transparency to enhance both visual and physical permeability.

Architecture of Thresholds Program: Tea Research Institute Location: Wayanad, Kerala Year: 2023 The design revolves around a tea interpretation center that draws the public into an otherwise research facility, serving as the teapot. Various elements like knowledge, history, culture, and passion blend together to brew a rich and enlightening experience for tea enthusiasts. The architecture seamlessly integrates with the landform, creating a play of volumes that are fluid yet structured, organic yet manmade at the same time.

Carlo Scarpa_Olivetti Staircase
The assymetry of the staircase breaks up the space but also adds a playful aspect to the showroom in which its designed. Catilevered supports transfer the mass of the marble steps to the ground.
The plinth floats above a shimmering mosaic tiled floor symbolizing water.
