Instructions for “Nursery in a Bag” Be sure and test fit pieces before gluing. Straight pins can be used for temporary assembly. Read through the instructions before beginning the project. Supplies Needed: Instruction Sheets (included) Pattern for foam core box (included) Tissue Paper 1 sheet of nursery wallpaper Carpet Acetate Sheet for “window” enclosure Nursery Gift Bag (we used a 7” wide x 4” deep x 9” high bag). You may need to adjust your pattern accordingly. Sheet of foam core Exacto or utility knife with sharp new blade Glue Gun or your favorite glue (I prefer a clear drying glue) Pencil Scissors Ruler Wallpaper paste or your favorite adhesive for wallpaper 1. Cut the patterns from the cardstock provided and use the patterns as templates to trace around on foam core following the outside of the lines. Cut pieces out of the foam core. 2. Draw a line on the back panel for placement of the shelf. Use the front panel (it's about 1½ inches tall by the 7 wide) as the guide to draw a faint pencil line. This is where the top of the shelf' is aligned. 3. Use a hot glue gun or your favorite glue for assembly. Lay back panel down flat. Glue left side in place. Be sure all edges are lined up. (This project is very forgiving, so don't stress about it).

4. Then glue the right side. Jeepers Dollhouse Miniatures – www.jeepersminiatures.com

5. Next attach the top, bottom, two braces (for shelf) and shelf. The braces should be placed about 2 inches in from either side. This just makes the shelf sturdier and should help protect from warping.

6. Finally attach the front panel.

7. Add wallpaper and carpet to roombox. Attach carpet permanently so furniture can be secured for frequent moving. 8. Be sure and put a piece of heavy cardboard or a cutting board inside the gift bag when cutting out the “window” opening. Use a sharp Exacto or utility knife to cut out the “window” opening following the lines around the scalloped lines of the border of the picture. 9. Attach the acetate to the inside of the bag with a clear drying adhesive. Let dry. The foam core roombox should just slide into gift bag. 10.Cut each sheet of tissue in half. Just put several dabs of glue on the top of the foam core roombox, puff tissue and press into glue, holding a moment until set. 11. Fill with your favorite nursery items…and enjoy!
