“ I am old and i want to spend my retirement days in the admist of mother nature This weekend home is located in the Outskirts of Aurangabad within a grove of Trees ( Chickoo, Guava and Sheesam ). The design process started with client brief and requirements but the major design driven force was location of site in Orchard of trees. Before everything we went to site to demarcate the scale of trees and to use them accordingly in our designed spaces. The design is kept very simple with courtyards in between to provide poper ventillation and light .Typical Sloping roof with large overhangs has ben used to cut down the harsh sun of Aurangabad as a result keeping the intra environment cool much as possible.

This building is a design proposal for the school of arts and music in gwalior and it will also relate the history of the place. The main factor that influenced the shape of the building are the orientation and the view towards the different courts of nature’s elements. The structure is divided into two parts according to the need of the design thus forming the intermediate spaces of interaction between the students and the nature.

Fashion and architecture are both based on basic life necessities - clothing and shelter. However, they are also forms of self-expression - for both the creators and consumers. Both fashion and architecture affect our emotional being . Site sits in the hilly region in Srinagar, having area of 55000 sqm to build on and commands dramatic views of forests and Hurmukh mountain. The concept is to take outside in , a place not only for learning but to develop a person as designer in the lap of mother nature

PAVILION Competition Entry Kenya, 2018 Concept Planning and Design Development

The pavilion beyond providing shade and rest is a manifestation of the consciousness between the tangible and intangible aspects of the nature. Nestled in the heart of The Amboseli National Park the pavilion aptly named Crown of YEYO is an organic response to the existing topography of the park. The park situates itself in an all-encompassing natural setting that creates a paradigm for the natural forces that is superior all of us. Nature has given us everything which we need for our sustenance and survival. The Crown of Yeyo is an expression of the warmth of a mother. The design is conceptualised with respect to the existing site topography that led us to create gradual stairs to reach to the pavilion. The gentle rise is symbolic of one’s soaring aspirations. The conceptualisation of the pavilion works on three levels that creates three entities representing:

epicycle, epicentre and eclipse.
