OutCast Lures are handmade in Holliston, Massachusetts by a team of dedicated craftspeople with a range of special skills and interests.
Our founder, Mike Pham, started making custom fishing lures years before launching the company, and as we have grown our team, we have sought out people with the same passion for producing the finest custom fishing lures in the market. Our production is all done in our own facilities, and under the guidance of skilled practitioners knowledgable in a range of specialties. Our goal has always been to consistently produce products that our customers will cherish and admire, and our distribution partners can count on for reliable demand.
We distribute our lures through traditional retail tackle shops around the USA, as well as through our e-commerce website.
We promote our brand through a variety of print, broadcast and Social Media channels, and in doing so look to generate consistent demand for our lures, and drive a majority of the traffic to our dealer network. We adhere to our regularly publish MSRP guide on our proprietary website, and offer competitive discounts for dealer mark-up. As a domestic, bespoke product, our costs are greater than many of our mass produced competitors, but our loyal fans see the value in our lures and ask for them by name.

Mag-Neat® Rigging
What is the "Mag-Neat" feature for, and why does OutCast offer it on select lures?
OutCast Lures began offering the Mag-Neat® feature in 2022. This system incorporates a small but powerful magnet in the body on our Danny and Surfster lines of lures. These bodies are keel weighted (for better swim action) but are subject to less stable aerodynamics during casting. This unavoidable side effect can lead to "leader tangles", fouling the presentation of the lure on retrieval. We found through extensive testing that we could lessen these tangles, and

The Hybrid Pencil Popper from OutCast is truly a versatile workhorse for both surfcasters and inshore light tackle anglers of all experience levels. The superior casting performance gives the angler a distinct advantage in range and accuracy. Available in three sizes, ranging from the 2.0oz Small to the massive 4.5oz Large, there is a hybrid for every user. Great surface plug with a minimalist retrieve profile, the hybrid shape quickly gets the plug dancing through the strike zone.

The OutCast Polaris Series
The Polaris Popper from OutCast is a prime example of how we start with a classic, and make it an OutCast. Keel weighted for maximum punch into the water, throwing a massive splash on each pull. The bulbous back half does double duty in both maximizing casting distance, and buoyancy for top water superiority.
The Dri-Flyr rigging has no tail weight, allowing for super slow or dead-stick presentation between pops.
The NEW Polaris Tuna is a heavier rigging designed for casting to offshore species of all stripes. Bluewater color options.

OutCast Long Caster
Targeting big fish, use a big plug profile. Some rules are not meant to be broken. The OutCast Long Caster user adheres to this standard, all the while adding our OutCast magic in both maximizing casting distances and maintaining top-water frenzy inducing action.
The Long Caster is a massive 10 inches nose to tail, and clocks in between 4.5 and 5oz (variations in wood density apply). Sails like a rocket into the heaviest headwind, and still pops to the surface with a few quick turns of the reel.
Just make sure you’ve got plenty of line on that reel.

Love the larger hybrid popper particularly the squid ink. Casts a mile and stays on top with minimal effort. Took some big fish on the same plug including a 40# and the plug is showing no rash�
