To humanism as the core of the European Renaissance thinking, attention to inherit the best of ancient cultural heritage of a people-oriented, especially the ancient Greek tradition, respect for reason and explore nature, humanism to "people", in particular, values and dignity of the individual's interest as a starting point, of humanism, the tolerance between people, non-violence and freedom of thought among people is the main reason. Humanism is certainly the most important elements of human values; from art to social life, the human history, people of the world, human activities and the human spirit, and body image itself as the center of attention. 以人文主義思想為核心的歐洲文藝復興，重視繼承古代以人為本的優秀文化遺產， 特別是古希臘的傳統，崇尚理性與探索自然，人文主義以” 人”，尤其個人的興 趣價值觀和尊嚴作為出發點，對人文主義來說，人與人之間的容忍、無暴力和思想 自由是人與人之間相處最主要的原因。人文主義最重要的內容就是肯定人的價值； 從藝術到社會生活，把人的歷史、人的世界、人的活動以及人的精神，形象和身體 本身做為關注的中心。 此次設計定在人文薈萃的南海學園裡的台北植物園，希望可以在大自然、人文與藝 術中取得平衡。
