The importance of a growth mindset

A growth mindset is necessary for learning from failure because it allows you to see setbacks as opportunities for improvement rather than as permanent impediments. When you have a growth mindset, you are more willing to take risks and attempt new things because you know that even if you fail, you will learn something beneficial.

A fixed mindset, on the other hand, is the belief that your abilities are fixed and cannot be changed. This can make it harder to learn from failure because you take setbacks as confirmation that you’re not good enough. As things get tough, you may be more likely to give up because you believe your efforts will be useless.
