IMMUNIZATIONS Children in grades K-12 need the following immunizations: 4 doses of diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis Tdap); 3 doses of Hepatitis B; two doses of measles, mumps and rubella (MMR); 4 doses of polio and 2 doses, or evidence of immunity, from chickenpox. Entering the 7th grade you also need the meningitis vaccine and Tdap. A second dose of the meningitis vaccine is needed for 12th grade students. Remember the one best way to prevent the spread of germs is through good handwashing!! Sing the ABC’s to make certain you and your children are spending adequate time with this important task!
