Interior View Plantarcana is a cafe that also sells various types of plants. By using

‘Greenhouse’ as the

theme for this cafe, the colors that are used for material selection are white, gray, brown, and green.

There are two main functions in this building. Due to this, there needs

to be an appropriate

zoning placements for each activity; eating area for guests, plants display, ordering bay/ bar, and service area. But since the space is quite narrow and small, instead of using a massive room partition, using elements such as display table, bar, and circulation as a zone divider seem to be more suitable.

Design Concept Final Result

There are some challenges in the design process of Plantarcana. Dividing the space according to the activities is one of them. Because of the small space, it is quite tricky to maximize guest’s seating while having some more functions in this cafe. Besides that, this cafe was built with a limited budget, so there needs to be some compromises on choosing the materials and furniture.
