RESTAURANT 67
This two floor restaurant is located in the heart of Manhattan. Set at the 67th floor of a high rise hotel by Trent Yeates, this restaurant offers fine dining to New Yorkers. Being set at such a height, birds were a big inspiration of the space, using their colors and forms. The space was designed to feel moody with deep hues and tones. To offset the dark hues, light colors were added to bring an element of surprise and a fun element. Custom fabric was designed to be used as an upholstery fabric for dining chairs throughout the space. A custom light sits in between the second and first floors and is meant to represent the flight of a bird.

URBAN OASIS
Urban Oasis is a medical spa that was inspired by a modern take on the tropics. A new space plan was laid out in an existing building.to accomodate employees and customers. A set of construction documents were completed to communicate the new design of the space. A custom wallcovering was designed for the space. AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, Photoshop, and Illustrator were used to complete the project.

WOODLAND PEDIATRIC DENTAL
Woodland Pediatric Dental was designed with kids in mind. Being in a medical office can be a scary experience for children. The space was designed to be comforting and inviting to children. Bright lively colors and warm wood surround you as you enter the space. A custom wallcovering was designed to keep aligned with the dental office's brand and to be a fun element for kids.

POLISH PASTRIES
Digging back to my roots, this bakery shop was inspired by the country of Poland. The Polish village of Zalipie has buildings covered in hand painted traditional florals that started in the 19th century. This bakery also serves traditional Polish breads and pastries. New custom hand drawn floral designs were applied to wood paneling that welcomes you into the space. It gives a nod to traditional polish homes, but has a more modern touch. Reds and blues were used in the space to pull upon the traditional colors found in their florals.

BED AND BREAKFAST
Prominent in Paolo Alto, California in the 1950's, Eichler residences were the prime example of Mid Century Modern design. The purpose of this group project was to restore an Eichler residence and turn it into a bed and breakfast. Keeping true to the architectural style, reasearch was done to design new textiles to use in the space that would feel authentic to the time. The interiors and furniture selections also reflect the prominent style to preserve it's unique style.

The 1950's encompassed the rise of mass production and allowed everyday people access to designer items and products. My research focused on designing custom patterns that would feel authentic to 1950's mid century modern style and would specifically fit into an Eichler interior. Surface patterns are applied to many different products including textiles and wallcoverings. Pattern design during the 1950's had quite the range of motifs. The space age was a big influence on pattern design. Designs were based off of galaxies, sputnik, planets, and boomerang's. Other patterns were abstracted off of fruits, flowers, stripes, polka dots, and plaids. Two designers that had a large influence in 1950's pattern design were Henry Moore and Lucienne Day. They still have iconic patterns that are used today. I focused on designing four different patterns in multiple colorways. People were not afraid of using bold unique colors in their interiors. Common colors used in mid century modern design included muted greens, blues, yellows, pinks, oranges, and greens. To keep the new collection cohesive, I focused on using colors to connect the patterns together. Each custom print was manufactured into pillows.

PARATIISI RESIDENCE
Paratiisi is a 1,000 sq. foot residence located up in the secluded mountains of Deer Valley, UT. The inspiration for this home is based off of the Bird of Paradise flower. The sharp angles of this form are reflected in the architecture. The color palette was also taken from the flower.

ONE 57
Located in Manhattan's One57 building on “Billionaires Row,” lies the Malik's residence. This global couple loves a contemporary edge in contrast with their collection of fine antiques. The Malik's desired a space to display their unique finds, so open shelving was incorporated in to the design. With a full-time chef, this kitchen required top of the line Sub Zero appliances for a very functional space. Central Park is the backdrop to the high gloss acrylic cabinets, Kauri tile, and contemporary lighting.

BROWNSTONE RESIDENCE
This residence located in the heart of Brooklyn is the home for a single executive writer. The floor plan and square footage may be small, but the client wanted the space to feel high end and comfortable and not sacrifice on design. Keeping the original molding and traditional touches, modern elements were layered on top to give an electic contemporary feel. Color was infused throughout the space to liven it up and give more personality to the space.

DURKAN
Durkan is a carpet competition for hospitatlity uses. This collection was designed to resonate the richness and organic quality of plant life found in the deep quiet moments of the forest. Many subtle moments are passed by, but this carpet showcases the rich beauty that can be discovered. Abstracted plant life is underlaid by geometric forms meant to represent beams of light. The ballroom carpet is representative of the deep corners of the forest which lead you to the complimenting pre-function carpet that leads you to a more illuminated nature scene.

SKETCHES AND ARTWORK
Art has been a passion for me as long as I can remember. I feel incomplete without a sketchbook in hand. The following is a sample of artwork and quick watercolor sketches completed over the past few years. Mediums used for each piece vary from oil paints, watercolors, Prismacolor pencils, charcoal, and acrylic paints. Subjects vary from people, architecture, nature, and abstract forms.
