We’ll celebrate the men in our lives who’ve helped build our wings and always supported our ambitions. And we’ll try our hardest not to roll our eyes at the dad jokes. I can’t think of a better way to kickoff the summer holiday than with the flavors of our Father’s Day Collection. Ice creams Dad would make on his workbench in the garage, like limited-edition Butterscotch Cocoa Nibs ice cream made by toasting sugar over an open fire. Our Summer Collection is also great for the guys, especially Yazoo Sue with Rosemary Bar Nuts ice cream bursting with cherry-wood-smoked
porter flavor and fistfuls of nuts. It’s every bit as satisfying as downing a cold beer and a basket of savory bar nuts at your favorite neighborhood bar. All of our ice creams are created this way—with people in mind. I’ve always believed truly great ice creams have the power to bring people together and spark conversations. That’s why we’ve spent years tweaking our recipes and building our ice creams from the ground up with grass-grazed milk and Fair Trade ingredients. The ideal ice cream is bursting with flavor, yet also retains fine texture, dense body, as well as a clean lingering finish. Jeni always says creating the best ice cream is about pairing the right dairy with the right ingredients. We use fresh cultured buttermilk to complement the acidity of the berries for a strawberry flavor that’s springy and bright.

Our ice creams are loaded with the nuance of beautiful ingredients from a tight network of growers we’ve worked with for years and know by name. From our dairy families to fields of strawberries and sweet corn, and drums of honey to Fair Trade ingredients, including coffee, vanilla, and chocolate.
Texture is the fineness of the ice cream between your tongue and the roof of your mouth. The texture of our ice creams? As smooth and creamy as we can possibly make them.
Body is one of the distinguishing features of American ice cream. We like to serve our ice cream hard and roll it into a tight ball. The perfect ice cream is dense and slightly chewy, and melts slowly like buttercream.
Our ice cream leaves your palate with a clean finish. We don’t use stabilizers because they dampen flavor and leave behind a sharp chemical taste. We want the clean flavor of dairy and our incredible ingredients to linger on your tongue.
Jeni’s x Stone Brewing Our ice creams typically start with an idea—a single flavor or a combination of ingredients that we build upon. But to create our second collaboration ice cream with California’s lauded Stone Brewing, we worked backward, allowing the flavors in their Mocha IPA to lead the way. The beer has the bitterness of an imperial IPA, that cocoa-coffee indulgence of a mocha stout, and subtle hints of dark cherry. Our Mocha Black Cherry hits all these notes: soft coffee ice cream that clashes with sweet-sour cherry sauce and bitter cocoa nibs.
