April showers bring May flowers! A flower has petals and a stem. Each individual petal is unique and beautiful. The stem provides support and structure for the flower to grow. Just as the stem is the lifeline of the flower, you have a lifeline for your business? Do you know what it is? Is it recruiting? Is it just sales? Is it that you’re just a hobbyist? Whichever it is, be courageous and own it! However this May, with all the new HERO Iconits and the fabulous LUT special, try to push through and grow your business a new petal.

Be courageous and reach out beyond your comfort zone! Maybe it’s trying Facebook live to show off the ways you love to use your LUT! It could be a short segment to introduce our Hero video when you share it in your customer group! So, you got a new recruit now what?!? The first 90 days are the most crucial for any new team member! If you want to grow a successful team that will stay the course and produce sustained growth for you and your business, you must also invest the time to support and train them along the way. Just because you know something doesn’t mean everybody on your team knows it or even knows where to find it. It’s your job - as their leader - to make sure they know! So before they can jump onto the ThirtyOneToday website and start working their way through the new consultant training tools, make sure you

have been in touch with them and let them know that you are therefor them to answer questions or point them in the right direction when needed. As their leader, you also need to make sure they are progressing in a productive manner as a new consultant. Are they meeting milestones? Are they on track for StartSwell? That’s part of your job! Don’t make the mistake of neglecting it! Offer to do their first party with them. You’ll be there for moral support and to help with the checkout process. Particularly if there are more than 10

guests! That’s going to take alot of the pressure off them. It also gives an opportunity for guests to see some of the newer products that are not in the enrollment kit. It also shows potential recruits just how supportive your team is and that might allay fears they may have about joining! Remember, recruiting is a powerful aspect to growing your business. Working with a new team member is not only what is best for them, but it is a best business practice for you! Make the time to do it make it non-negotiable - you won’t regret it! It’s definitely time well invested!

They would leave them in parlors to let someone know they had “called” on them. Those cards evolved into the business cards that we have become familiar with today. But now, with the widespread availability and affordability of web-to-print services, adding so much more to your business card is as simple as typing out a

web form! They are must haves in business and should include things like your website, social media accounts, and even info about incentives for joining your team!

Same for the phone number if you are not comfortable with that! If you have a work phone - include it! It’s up to you and your comfort level! Just be sure to include enough information for them to reach you! At a minimum it should have your name, your title, and at least a web address or a link to a Facebook VIP Group. Remember, everything that leaves your hands need a path back to you in some manner!

But where should you leave them? I mean - it does have your information on it! You don’t want Crazy Joe finding out where you live, right? [ business] So which K group are you going to be in? Which K group do you want to be in? Make a plan and achieve it! There is still time! But you need to get on the stick! By the end of May, you can be in the group that you would like but yes, you’re going to have to work your business. If you want something free, you got to work for it girl! What do you do right now? Add up your personal volume from the months of March and April, and then subtract that number from the K group you want to achieve. This will be the amount of PV that you would need this month to achieve that goal. How are you going to meet your PV goal? What about having your own personal booking blitz!? You don’t have to wait on your team to do a booking blitz challenge, do your own personal one! Go back to your ‘who do you know’ list and start working from the top!
