Wouldn’t it be great if you knew every party was a huge success before you even walked in the door. There’s a great and fairly proven way to ensure a successful party order every time. All you have to do is increase outside orders. Upper level leaders swear by it. Read on to learn how.

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

When you think of booking parties, do you stop at home parties or online parties? If you do, you are selling yourself, and your commission check short! Think about other venues and customer types to expand your bookings and your business! Business and corporate gifts, craft shows, vendor events, holiday gift exchanges, holiday open house, fundraisers, private VIP groups, theme parties and more! Don’t limit yourself to in-home and online parties! There are so many other ways to reach customers, make sales, and have a profitable month - every month! With a little smart planning and thought, you will be a booking master in no time!

You may have a great hostess who’s passing out catalogs and talking up her party - but once she is separated from that catalog, that is when it is in front of a potential customer or show guest. This is when you need your catalog to speak for you! For example, let’s say a teacher leaves a catalog in the lunchroom or a nurse leaves the catalog at the nurses station. When someone looks at that catalog and turns it over to see the name on the back they see the name of the consultant only (if you put it there) - not the hostess who they know, so they usually put the catalog back down and don’t order.

would it make if you put a label on the front that says Mary (or whoever) is having a party, and that she is taking pre-orders, you include sales tax and payment info and mention how they can book their own party. The sticker on the front of the catalog has just become your voice as they hold that catalog! Your contact information is there, it shows that you are “Mary’s” consultant, and it provides a link directly to you. Talk about multipurpose marketing! That’s a goldmine! That little label could result in Hostess husbands coming home from work with orders and payments in perfect order! It can result in shy friends turning in several orders completely correct because the important info is on the front of the catalog. That little label might be the difference between a $600 party and a $1200 party!
