OCT 10: Flight to Las Vegas - Overnight on the world-famous Strip. OCT 11: Hoover Dam - Visit the amazing Hoover Dam for a tour of this engineering marvel. B OCT 12: Route 66 - Today is a historic adventure as we travel to the nostalgic Route 66 Highway in Kingman. Along the way, experience plenty of Rt. 66 nostalgia including a hulking old power plant, The Rusty Bolt, a fantastic junk shop and oddball emporium, Angel Delgadillo’s barber shop, and other new Rt. 66 Gift Shops and Museums. Overnight Phoenix. B D OCT 13: Tombstone - Our trail takes us eastward across the Arizona desert to the old western town of Tombstone, sight of famous gun fight at the O.K. Corral. Overnight in El Paso, TX. B OCT 14: San Antonio - Travel across the expanse of the Lone Star State, through cattle ranches, and prairies of tumble weed, and into the Hill Country. Arrive in San Antonio for the overnight. B D OCT 15: The Alamo - Visit the most famous mission of Texas, the Alamo. Afterwards, free time to explore the Riverwalk. B OCT 16: Cajun Country - We travel back across Texas, through Houston, and into Louisiana. The colorful Cajun Country is our destination as we arrive in Lafayette for the overnight. B D OCT 17: Swamp - Glide through gator territory in the Honey Island Swamp on a small, flat-bottomed boat and learn all about the swamp and its natural inhabitants from an expert captain. Overnight in Biloxi in a Casino Resort. B L OCT 18: We return home today after exploring America from Nevada to Georgia and all the wonderful sights in between. B
