OCT 2: Flight to Phoenix, AZ. Overnight in Phoenix, AZ. D OCT 3: Grand Canyon - Tour the greatest example of erosion on Earth. The South Rim is a myriad of colors, rock layers, a blue haze shadowing the red rocks, and vistas of unbelievable beauty! B D OCT 4: Painted Desert - Travel through this colorful arid terrain along the foothills of the San Juan Mountains into New Mexico. Overnight in Albuquerque. B D OCT 5: Hot Air Balloon Festival - One of America’s most unique events with over 600 balloons featured. Start early to watch the Balloon Launch, which is a “Mass Ascension” as hundreds of the balloons rise at the same time. Overnight Amarillo. B D OCT 6: Oklahoma - Pass pumping oil wells and cattle ranches in route to Oklahoma City and visit the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Overnight in Tulsa. B OCT 7: Statuettes of Carthage - Travel to Missouri and tour of the Precious Moments Complex famed for their cute statuettes. Overnight in Branson with a dinner cruise on the Branson Belle.
