CHRISTKINDLMARKT is a German Christmas Market tradition of combining food, music, and entertainment with markets of imported and local Christmas specialties in a holiday atmosphere.

DAY 1: We travel into the beauty of North Georgia to the world-famous Dillard House where our group will spend the first night of this holiday trip in this resort property. Dinner is served family-style, so everyone will fill up on delicious mountain cooking. Tonight, is highlighted by a special show at the Smoky Mt Center for Performing Arts, “Christmas Back Home”. Filling the stage with music, stories, laughs, and more, “Christmas Back Home” will kickstart your holiday season and have your toes tapping to your favorite Christmas tunes. D

DAY 2: After a hardy breakfast, we travel to quaint Alpine Helen. Helen is located along the Chattahoochee River and is a popular destination with its many small specialty shops and souvenir nooks. This weekend features the 15th annual Christkindlmarkt. Dinner is at the Unicoi Lodge, located in this beautiful Georgia State Park. B D

DAY 3: After breakfast, we travel to another jewel of North Georgia: Dahlonega. This is the town made famous by the discovery of gold in the area in 1828. Here in this historic town, experience an old-fashioned Christmas, the most wonderful time of year in Dahlonega. The historic square, shops, restaurants, and inns all shine in their holiday finest with lightings and decorations. We have lunch in the famed Smith House with delicious fresh foods served in this mountain setting. Later, we return home with plenty of great memories of this fun mountain Holiday adventure. B L
