139 Adams St. Monte Vista (719) 628-2015 Open every weekend for showings at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Vali 3 Theater in historic downtown Monte Vista is a community-supported volunteer operation. We provide value for your entertainment dollar – and it’s a good place to reconnect with family and friends! The mission of the Vali 3 is to operate in a sustainable manner and to bring quality movies and community events to the San Luis Valley. Generous donations from the public allowed the Theater to purchase modern digital equipment. Since our reopening in December 2014, the Theater has brought numerous first-run movies to Monte Vista. The Vali 3 is overseen by an all-volunteer advisory board, two paid managers and is operated Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Theater is also available to community organizations for event rentals and special screenings.

How you can support the Vali 3: 1. Tax-deductible checks will help with our operating expenses. 2. Volunteering at the Theater requires only a few hours of your time and happens just four times per year. 3. Your ticket and your concession purchases help with our operating costs. 4. Cleaning supplies (trash bags, paper towels, cleaning solutions) are always appreciated.

Please visit www.vali3theater.org for more information regarding the Theater and how you can help!

This community-run Theater depends on your support to bring in new business and new tax revenue to our town. This is not just a theater. It’s a symbol of new life for our community.

Valley to Valley Senior Care Center Announces Capital Campaign for 2019 Great News… A center is coming to Saguache!

Valley to Valley strives to provide the best care required, from basic interaction and companionship to full scale assistance for Alzheimer’s, dementia and all daily living skills. The program has been expanded to provide caregivers a break from their daily routine and allow them to return to the workforce or simply take a few hours for themselves with the assurance that their loved ones will receive quality care from trained, experienced, and compassionate staff. The care center is a wonderful choice when it comes to retaining independence and security for our seniors. We will be expanding our services with a second center to help seniors and their families which will include day services, respite and assisted living. Your support is needed both financially and in-kind to help our non-profit build and supply the new center. Until the center is completed please contact us for transportation options to our Salida center. Now is the time to show how much the community supports the new center. We are accepting donations via Coloradogives.org, our web page at valleytovalley.net or by mail to Post Office Box 769, Salida, CO 81201. We are a 501 (c) (3) and listed on the state charitable solicitation index for tax purposes.

The Monte Vista Cemetery is a non-profit, perpetual care cemetery. All maintenance, mowing and board oversight is voluntary. As with many other non-profit cemeteries we are not on a city or county budget. We exist solely on the sale of lots, plots and the kind donations of our stakeholders. We struggle. For many years we have worked diligently to maintain the grounds of our cemetery; keeping the original dignity and beauty with which it was established so many years ago. Alas, times have changed. In the coming years the cemetery will be hit with water assessments which we simply cannot afford. This board has done everything imaginable to alleviate the coming charges for water and maintenance of our beautiful cemetery - to no avail. We ask that you remember the cemetery and your loved ones in your gift giving at this time. Please, consider your contribution a caring remembrance to the maintenance and care of the final resting place of your loved ones. Thank you! For more information for giving or volunteering throughout the year contact us at : Monte Vista Cemetery Office , 121 Adams St., Monte Vista (719)852-5196 www.montevistacemeteryassociation.com Meetings are the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30
