Color & Inspiration Spring/Summer 2017
“Color embraces you. it wakes you up and keeps you present.” -Tracy Reese 2
From the editor’s desk Color & Inspiration Spring/Summer 2017 Each season, we as forecasters have an interpreted idea of the four key trends for that particular season. These trends will encompass the colors, textures, and overall look that will shape womenswear each season. While each theme relates to one another, they are still uniquely their own. In this report, we will discuss the four key color trends for Spring/Summer 2017. The first major trend, Candy Crush, is all about the sweet pastels brought on by our favorite treats. The second, 80’s Pop, explores the boldness of the 1980’s disco culture. Desert Dream, the third trend, is about the Earth’s bare natural elements. And the fourth trend, Soft Romance, shows the delicacy of falling in love through color and texture. The overall color breakdown helps you, the reader, explore the color possibilities and combinations perfect for Spring time.
Enjoy,
