The four key trends of the season are influenced by the unique color stories mentioned in our color and inspiration report. Now that we have our main colors for the upcoming season, let’s take a look at how we can translate these ideas into actual fashion looks for Spring. In this report, we will discuss the main themes for Spring/ Summer 2017. The first of the four trends, Candy Crush, explores both the preppy and playful aspects of 1950’s silhouettes. The key pieces in the 80’s Pop trend are bright colored dresses, structured coats, and playful shoes. The Desert Dream inspired girl gravitates towards essential pieces that can be paired with anything. And finally, in our last key trend of the upcoming season, Soft Romance, we show you examples of how to achieve an overall soft and feminine look. Be sure to play with layers and texture to create your own personal look.
