TOP 25 WEDDING
Do’s & Don’ts 5 DO remember your guests with small children. Ask your reception site manager if there is a small room or play area near the festivities that you can rent. Hire a professional babysitting service to take care of the kids. Parents will appreciate your consideration and be able to relax and enjoy your reception knowing they are close to their children.
1 DO take advantage of Internet technology. There are many sites dedicated to wedding planning that offer a wealth of information at your fingertips. Coordinate with vendors, make and confirm reservations, create a Pinterest account to save your favorite images and ideas. (Visit our website at PremierBride.com for trusted local vendors).
6 DO remember when purchasing a gown to be realistic about your expectations for losing weight. A gown can always be taken in, but rarely can it be let out without leaving stitch marks for all to see.
2 DO create a separate email address and use it for everything you sign up for during the planning process. You’ll enjoy getting special offers and information but can delete the address after your wedding date.
3 DON’T forget to pamper yourself. Treat your mom and maids the day before the wedding with an afternoon at the spa. You’ll have the time of your life enjoying facials, massages, manicures and pedicures. It will make you feel more relaxed and beautiful.
4 DO contact the church or synagogue where you will perform your ceremony and ask about any rules or guidelines regarding music. Some churches require that you use their organist.
4 • PREMIER BRIDE
pbdetroit.com
7 DON’T forget to involve stepparents in your ceremony in some way; perhaps a reading during your ceremony or an invocation before dinner.
8 DO consider table visits during your reception. It is a grand display of appreciation and respect when the bride and groom spend a few moments visiting their guests at each table.
9 DON’T seat older guests near the band or the speakers as it may be hard for them to hear anything else.
10 DO consider decorating chairs in a new way such as black, silver, white or traditional gold. Transform an ordinary room or site into a ballroom. Chair covers completely change the look of your reception.
11 DON’T forget to discuss black and white and sepia tone images with your photographer. This classic style is dramatic and remains popular.
12 DO remember that the hour of the ceremony is an indicator of the formality of the reception.
13 DO consider having your entire wedding at a full-service hotel. The convenience of having the ceremony, reception and guest lodging in one place is incomparable, especially for a complicated event.
14 To get your skin in shape for your wedding day, DON’T forget to start six months prior to your wedding and practice make-up techniques.
15 When renting a stretch limo, DO remember that it can usually seat up to 10 people, but fewer when the bride’s gown and train and the bridesmaid’s dresses are factored in to the equation.
16 DON’T forget that the best way to let people know where you are registered is to have family and friends spread the word. Although it’s impolite to mention the registry on wedding invitations, a hostess may do so on shower invitations.
17 DO remember to return rental items on time and undamaged.
18 DO select the ceremony and reception locations nine to 12 months before your wedding. If you’re getting married in popular months like May or June, select these locations as soon as possible.
19 DO make finding the right caterer and baker a priority. Great food is critical to the wedding celebration. Interviews and tastings are a must.
20 DON’T waste time getting to your reception. Have photos of the wedding party taken before the ceremony.
21 DO reserve your photographer nine to 12 months before your wedding. Decide which shots you definitely want and which ones you can live without.
22 DON’T forget to send an invitation to your officiant and to all of your wedding party.
23 DO pick up your invitation envelopes as soon as possible so that you can begin addressing them.
24 DO consider having two bouquets, one to keep and one to throw.
25 DO check with your church or temple about their policies, especially regarding alcohol.

TIME TO CELEBRATE! The options for ceremony and reception locations have increased dramatically over the past decade. From barns to warehouses, any location capable of hosting a wedding has jumped into the fray. Make sure you both share the same vision. Once you’ve settled on your reception’s aesthetic, you can begin to narrow down locations. Start by considering your guest count and budget. Finalizing these will quickly eliminate any venues that are too small or too expensive. Most on-site locations provide the majority of goods and services needed for your reception. Off-site locations offer the use of the reception space only. There are pros and cons to both onand off-site venues — what matters is what’s right for you and your wedding! Remember that an affordable venue that doesn’t include any furnishings, for instance, might not be so affordable in the end. 6 • PREMIER BRIDE
pbdetroit.com
Whatever aesthetic you land on, the same nitty-gritty details will determine whether a particular reception site is right for you. First, where’s the venue in relation to your ceremony site? Make sure there’s ample, convenient parking for your guests, or hire a shuttle or valet service if necessary. Consider the size and layout of the reception space. Will the entire reception take place in one room, or will there be a separate space for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing? Ask about possible restrictions on the volume or duration of music and confirm that there’s adequate power and electrical outlets. Do the flooring, wall color, window treatments, and artwork suit the style and season of your wedding? Once your reception location and details are locked in, the remaining decisions will flow a bit easier.

LET’S TALK
Place Settings!
abigailmiles.com
amandaketterhagenphotography.com
Make it count
Add a pop of color.
If you don’t have the budget to turn every guest’s place setting into a work of art, don’t hesitate to upgrade where it counts. Simplify your place settings for the majority of tables, but do your sweetheart table or king’s table up to the nines. After all, your table is the focus of not only your guests’ attention, but the vast majority of your photos. Don’t hesitate to go the extra mile for yourselves. After all the work you put into making this wedding a beautiful one, you deserve to dine at the table of your dreams.
Colored chargers are a great place to start. Chargers are larger plates not intended for food, rather the dinner plates sit on top of the chargers. Their main purpose is to add to the visual effect of the table. Two other easy ways to give your place setting a boost are napkins and glassware. Consider choosing a napkin color that reflects your wedding palette. Or, if you have the budget, swapping plain glasses for colorful vintage goblets is an easy way to bring some lovely life to your place settings.
10 • PREMIER BRIDE
pbdetroit.com
Place settings also make a table look lush and elegant, especially when crafted with thoughtful consideration. There are lots of layers that can go into a place setting. It might be bare bones with just the necessary plates, forks, and glassware. Or you might take it to an artful level by mixing in paper goods and three-dimensional flourishes. Here are some ways to approach place settings for your wedding. Make the most of your basics. Your caterer will have an inherent need for certain types of plates, cutlery, and glassware. These may be provided by your venue or by the caterer themselves. Ask to see a sample of the plates and glasses in question. If you’re not loving the style, ask about alternatives. It’s possible you could upgrade. Bring this same critical eye to your table cloths, since choosing a patterned or textured cloth can make a big difference.
wildelegancewi.com mahalimagery.com
First, what is a place setting? It’s the table-top set of plates, cutlery, glasses, napkin, and more provided to a guest at a meal. Why are place settings important? For starters, they hint at what’s to come. A salad plate indicates that greens are imminent, and a champagne glass lets guests know complimentary bubbles are on the menu.
sharoncoker.com
wildelegancewi.com
Go for extra oomph
Layer items thoughtfully
Once you’ve curated all the basics of your place setting, it’s time to think about any extra-special touches. Things like sprigs of greenery, fresh blooms, or dried slices of citrus may not add anything functional to your place settings, but they add a dash of elegance and eye-catching beauty. You can also consider how your centerpieces mingle with your place settings, as floral arrangements, candles, and table numbers all add to the aesthetic of a table.
First, consider the basics: plates, napkins, and cutlery. You can display these items the traditional way with the napkin, fork, and knife to the right of the dinner plate, or you can get creative with it. You might tie the napkin into a pleasing shape and place it on top of the plate. If you have seating cards, you might place these on the plates as well for added visual depth. If you’re sharing other paper goods with your guests, such as printed menus, consider the placement of these as well. pbdetroit.com

VENUES
FINDING THE RIGHT VENUE things to consider
Finding the right venue is easy if you keep in mind what is most important to you! Here are some suggestions on where to start.
Your place of worship For many, this is where the ceremony will occur. Some have parish halls or community centers where they can host the reception after the ceremony. Keep in mind that alcohol is probably not allowed on the property. So, even if you want a little sip of champagne to toast the couple, you’ll have to go elsewhere.
Hotels Because of their size and all they offer, hotels can do everything for the wedding from the smaller meeting spaces for the bridesmaids’ luncheon to the grand ballroom that holds hundreds of people. You can have both your ceremony and reception in one convenient location. Plus, the guests have a place to stay and they don’t have to worry about driving in an unfamiliar city.
Restaurants For those couples that love great food, individual service, and an exceptional wine list, this is ideal. Usually the chef can prepare foods that are your favorites even though they are not on the menu.
Country or Private Club Many private and country clubs allow for non-members to have their wedding at the facility. Like a hotel, you have the convenience of an experienced and qualified kitchen, bar and serving staff, and a club staff member to help. Antebellum Home, Lodge, Boutique Hotel many couples want a place that is quaint with a hint of romance maybe with historic value or a story. Some offer full service with in-house catering and a coordinator. Others let you 12 • PREMIER BRIDE
pbdetroit.com
choose your wedding professionals, usually from a preferred vendor’s list. Many of these venues offer both inside and outside areas for the ceremony and reception. And they have spaces for large tent set-ups, too.
Home or Friend’s Place Here you have complete flexibility with no stipulations or “have to’s”. Your costs may rise because you may have to rent or buy everything from seating for the guests at the ceremony to tables and chairs, plates, glasses, flatware, lighting, staging, dance floor, generator, bathrooms, and more for the reception.
Park, Beach, Museum, Zoo Like a home wedding, you can choose your vendors in these one-of-a kind settings. And like the home weddings, you are probably going to have to provide everything. In addition, in a public place, a permit may be required, with a small fee, to use that area. Remember, because it is public, there’s a good chance you’ll have prying eyes and uninvited guests.
Destination Weddings Many brides choose destination weddings. Some go within driving distance. Others jet off to tropical islands. And still some choose a foreign country maybe with ancestral roots. Destination weddings are usually much smaller requiring friends and family to travel at their expense. For the bride, it can be less stressful because many resorts and hotels have a coordinator that puts everything together for them: the officiant, photographer, musicians, flowers, cake, ceremony, reception. All the bride and groom have to do is show up. As seen in The Bridal Guru msbridalguru. com. Have a question about your wedding? Email ask@msbridalgurur.com

BE A GRACIOUS BRIDE
make it a great day for everyone You may have heard the expression. “It’s your day, do it your way.” While this is true, it’s also easy to take this concept too far. Here are a few tips about being a gracious bride: UNDERSTAND YOUR GUESTS’ PERSPECTIVE. Awkward gaps of time or long distances between locations are difficult for guests. Try to craft your day’s schedule with the guests in mind. JUMP ON THOSE THANK YOU NOTES. Guests look forward to hearing if you liked their gift! Write a personalized note and respond as quickly as possible. GIVE OTHERS GRACE. Know that weddings are an emotional time for your close relatives and friends, and there can be unexpected emotions such as grief or anxiety. Give them grace and, maybe, a warm hug.

Ask the Right Questions! Questions!
• What packages do you offer? What do they include? • Are your fees based on total cost of wedding or an hourly or flat rate? • Have you done weddings similar to mine? • What cultures and traditions are you familiar with? • Do you offer “day of the wedding” assistance? • Will you be willing to work with the coordinator at my reception location? • Can you provide me with special rates when working with various vendors? • How far in advance must I book your services? • What is your cancellation policy? • Is a deposit required? If so, when and how much? degrootfilmco.com

placecards and seating charts Seating charts can help guests seat themselves without using those handwritten place cards employed since the turn of the century. They can be just as elegant, if done properly. A prominently displayed graphic seating plan, typically 24”x36”, greets guests and quickly dispatches them to their designated places. The names and table numbers can be designed in a manner appropriate to the wedding’s style. Seating charts are gaining popularity with “wedding contributors” whose job it is to laboriously hand-write a hundred or more guest’s names on the traditional place cards saving time, and in some cases, money.

CONSULTANTS
WEDDING PLANNERS an affordable luxury
A wedding consultant is an expensive luxury. That’s the myth. Here’s the reality. You’re busy. You work. Your fiancé works. A wedding consultant can save you both time and money, and reduce the stress of planning a wedding. Experienced consultants have access to hundreds of wedding professionals and specialty services. By utilizing these contacts, they can provide creative and unique recommendations tailored to suit both your style and your budget. Their expertise will ensure that you get what you want in terms of quality, quantity and service. Vendors usually give consultants the best possible price considerations in hopes of repeat business. Many reception locations, caterers and entertainment companies offer coordinating services as part of their full-service packages. While these services can be very useful, they can also be limited to a small list of vendors. A professional wedding consultant will give you individualized attention and provide unbiased opinions on protocol and style. You can hire a consultant to assist you in planning your entire wedding, or to simply help orchestrate a rehearsal and wedding day. Fees may be charged hourly at a flat rate or on a commission basis depending on the consultant and the services you require. Most consultants offer a variety of packages and a la carte services. Although friends and relatives can certainly assist with wedding plans, leave the details to a professional who can anticipate mishaps, troubleshoot when necessary and provide you the affordable luxury of a stress-free wedding.

A PERFECT FIT finding a seamstress
Whether you need alterations, restoration or custom design, take special care in finding an experienced, professional seamstress to help you create or update the dress of your dreams. Professional dressmakers commonly charge a fee for the initial consultation that is normally credited to your bill if you elect to use their services. At this meeting, ask questions to help determine their experience, craftsmanship, fashion sense and professionalism. Inquire about their affiliation with relevant professional organizations. While not a guarantee, members are usually held to a higher level of workmanship and keep abreast of the latest in fabrics, styles and techniques. Be certain to ask to view a portfolio of prior bridal work. Ask to see any current 28 • PREMIER BRIDE
pbdetroit.com
projects and be sure to observe the details, both inside and out. Dressmakers should also have references available for the asking so be sure you get this information too. Finally, get everything in writing. The contract should detail time, cost, payments, materials, fittings and completion date. It should also indicate who will provide or purchase what materials. Most sewing professionals require a 50 percent deposit to begin working on your order. Keep all appointments and make payments when specified. This will ensure a finished project on the agreed upon completion date. Don’t let price be the only criteria by which you select a professional seamstress. You will get what you pay for.

TIPS FOR CREATING YOUR OWN
wedding website
1. FREE IS THE BEST Many sites offer free website services. 2. MAKE IT NEED-TO-KNOW + A LITTLE EXTRA There are 2 reasons to make a wedding website. One is to give guests need-to-know info that may not be included on the invite. The second reason is to add more information that guests will want to know, like suggested attire. 3. DON’T HOLD BACK WHEN DISPLAYING REGISTRY DETAILS You can add links directly to your registries.
Auburn & Main specializes in hair jewelry including tiaras, headbands and combs. Whether it is for your flower girl, your senior prom or your wedding day, we make it sparkle so you can shine.
4. ADD PERSONAL DETAILS Let visitors get to know you better by giving them a little bit of background on yourself and your soonto-be spouse. How you met, your engagement story and include pictures. 5. FAR AWAY FRIENDS & FAMILY WILL THANK YOU Post logistical details for guests making travel plans. 6. DON’T FORGET TO PROOFREAD You don’t want your guests to get lost!

GOWNS
WEAR AND CARE
tips to protect your dress • Have your gown pressed and padded at least two weeks early. • While you’re wearing the gown, use common sense. Protect it from moisture and mud, and lift the train above dirty floors. However, don’t be so cautious that you don’t enjoy yourself. • Use plastic sheets to cover questionable areas outdoors. • Keep track of white beverage spills such as white wines, champagne and soda. Left untreated, yellowing will occur. • Consign your gown to the cleaners even if it seems in perfect shape after the wedding. Perspiration and other obscure stains will make their mark over time and become embedded in a matter of weeks. Make sure the cleaner knows what caused any spots. • Only mend tears when you’re sure the fabric can stand the strain. • Store your gown carefully. Plastic bags seal in humidity and high temperatures, which cause mildew. Hangers stress sheer fabrics such as lace, organza or marquisette. • Invest in a dust-proof “heirloom box” which preserves delicate beads and fabrics and retards wrinkling.

INVITATIONS FIRST IMPRESSION Before you choose a style of invitation, it’s crucial to know some of the broad themes of your wedding (casual vs. formal, bold colors vs. soft hues) so that you can find/create invitations that reflect your style. If possible, order invitations six or more months before the big day. Formal invitations should be sent six to eight weeks before the wedding with save-the-dates going out months in advance. To address the envelopes, you can run them through your printer in a beautiful font, handwrite them yourself, or hire a handletterer to do the job for you. Avoid using labels at all costs, even clear ones as they just don’t convey the specialness that a wedding deserves. Include your return address on the back of the envelope and make sure that your invitations have sufficient postage before popping them in the mail. indiefernphoto.com
INVITATIONS fir impression
Invitations seem like such a basic item but there’s a lot that goes into them and a lot that comes out of them! Invitations set the stage and build excitement, offering guests a peek at your wedding’s style. With creativity and proper etiquette, your invites will give a great first impression.
PB
INVITATION TIP Have an A-List and B-List of people you want to invite. Send out the A-list eight to ten weeks in advance and use the B-list as alternates for those from the A-list that decline.

FLOWERS
defining your day Through decades of evolving
wedding traditions and styles, certain things remain constant like a bride’s white dress and gorgeous flowers to adorn the day. Though we think of flowers as an accent, they’re so much more at a wedding. Flowers help define a wedding’s colors, theme, and mood.

FLOWERS
SIZE YOUR BOUQUET APPROPRIATELY.
HOW MANY FLOWERS ARE TOO MANY FLOWERS?
When it comes to the bridal bouquet, keep the bride’s size in mind so that the proportions look right. A too small bouquet would look awkward on a tall, statuesque bride, as would a large overwhelming bouquet on a petite bride.
Fragrant flowers can be an aromatic and special touch to your wedding day, but too much (especially for an indoor wedding) can lose its appeal quickly. Certain flowers, such as gardenias, lilacs, lilies of the valley, freesia, lilies and tuberoses, are quite fragrant – so be careful not to overdo it.

PRE-WEDDING
BACHELOR (ETTE) PARTIES take on a new look
If you think you know all about these traditional events, think again! Bachelor and bachelorette parties are about friends getting together, sharing old stories and, perhaps, creating some new memories. A weekend immersed in an outdoor adventure with plenty of time before and after for fine dining and visits to the local pubs is a great way to do just that! Adventures include white water rafting, cattle drives, deep sea fishing, ATV desert rides, sky diving … well you get the idea. The adventure also can be adjusted to fit the skill level of the group. The adventure bachelor parties give the best man, who didn’t take “Party Planning 101,” a chance to sign up the group and then relax. From the time the groomsmen arrive at the destination city until they depart, everything is planned out, orchestrated and
included in the modest pricing. Choosing a destination close to home, within driving distance, or at a mid point that is convenient to all members, is a plus. Too often out of town guys must make two costly trips to the wedding city. The same concepts and advantages apply for the gals.
The questions you or your fiancé need to be thinking about are: 1. How many people are involved and where are they coming from? 2. What type of adventure is appropriate? 3. What is our price range, considering all the members of the group? 4. How much time is there to schedule the event? 5. How do I learn more?

PACK LESS SO YOU CAN ENJOY YOURSELF MORE. Here are the five commandments for packing for your honeymoon.
1. Take half the clothes and twice the money. 2. Mix and match clothes (forget about a pair of shoes for every outfit). 3. Learn to layer so that when the evening cools off all you have to do is add a sweater over your existing skirt and blouse. 4. Do laundry at the hotel. 5. Be culturally sensitive. Women have to cover their shoulders in Italy before entering a church and in the Middle East remember miniskirts are out. 58 • PREMIER BRIDE
pbdetroit.com
Weddings have resumed and couples are ready to enjoy the honeymoon they envisioned. Some concerns loom and should be taken into consideration. We strongly recommend using a travel agent for their expertise and experience to help navigate any restrictions or special issues you need to be aware of. The cost is generally zero and if anything goes wrong, they’re just a phone call away. Requirements can be fluid and change depending on COVID rates. Most countries are requiring proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID PCR test within a certain time prior to travel. Please note that compliancy is the client’s responsibility regarding testing and filling out forms per destination prior to arrival.
WHAT SHOULD COUPLES CONSIDER WHEN PLANNING AND BOOKING THEIR HONEYMOON? If you do plan to travel internationally and don’t have an up-to-date passport we highly recommend doing so as soon as possible. With more countries opening for travel and cruise lines sailing again, the demand for passports will be high and there could be delays. If the country you really want to visit is not open, consider planning something smaller and keep planning the trip you have always wanted for a later date. As for countries that you should avoid, we suggest visiting the U.S. Dept. of State’s website (travel.state.gov) for current travel conditions along with updates and travel advisories on the horizon. Hotels and Resorts in tourist areas have really stepped up their cleaning and sanitizing to help assure safety of guests. You’ll see table spacing in restaurants and staff wearing masks throughout resorts.

MONEY MATTERS
a component of successful marriages BY ANN HOMER COOK, PH.D., PRESIDENT, A. HOMER COOK & ASSOCIATES, A MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT FIRM.
New Family. New Home. ROZ
Cell 248-891-7514 Office 734-513-2166 eliterealtymi.com 34269 Plymouth Rd, Livonia
Unresolved money issues are the number one cause for divorce. Therefore, money matters to a bride and groom beginning a successful life journey together. Most of us weren’t taught to discuss money in a shared conversation. Here are some good questions to get a conversation started between you and your future spouse. How was money handled in your families when growing up? Were there fights about money? Did you feel well off or poor as a kid? Today, how important is money to you? Do you consider yourself a saver or a spender? Do you have any large debts or assets? Who earns the most money and how does the other person feel about it? Lastly, what are your financial dreams both individually and as a couple? How do you plan on making those dreams a reality? Before your married life begins, it can be useful to create a starting budget for your household and to agree on who will pay for what within the household. At what dollar amount does one spouse need the permission of the other to purchase? A regular, set-aside time each month is important to create healthy communication and to reduce tensions. Additionally, the couple’s problem-solving skills are enhanced. Compromise is the key. Where money is spent is where one’s life is. Money management is more than keeping the checkbook balanced. And the best money management tip? Avoid debt, especially credit card debt, which is particularly draining on a couple.

THE PERFECT VENDOR
what every bride should expect One of the most unique customer service models you will ever find is the wedding industry. Here, you have dozens of businesses hired months in advance to complete an individual task that will be carried out on a particular day. What makes this more interesting is that there can be no do-overs on your wedding day. It is like a “live” stage play that will be orchestrated and presented in real time. We have all heard the saying “beauty is only skin deep”. It implies what you see on the surface is only part of the equation. The same is true in the wedding business. The photos you expect from your photographer or the music you discuss with your DJ is important, but only represents one level of service expectation. The products and service provided is important – so too is the manner in which they are delivered! Romantic comedies and reality TV have conditioned us to think that weddings are this stressed-out event that tears people apart and reduces the strongest people to a fetal position. It doesn’t have to be that way. Look carefully at training, qualifications and talent and don’t be afraid to ask for an example of how well they work with other vendors. Look at how you will be treated as a customer, how quickly they return your phone calls and respond to your inquiries. Follow your instincts and select vendors who care as passionately about you and the success of your event as they do about their own vocation. Contacting vendors listed in this publication is a good place to start since your local publisher is extremely involved and knowledgeable in your local bridal market.

BRIDAL SHOW AND TELL everything in one place
The groom has proposed; you’ve accepted. Now the planning begins. The only problem is that you and your groom probably work fulltime jobs and have hundreds of day-to-day errands and responsibilities. So where do you find the time to plan a wedding? A bridal show affords couples the opportunity to meet photographers, florists, caterers, bakery representatives, musicians, DJs and many other wedding professionals all conveniently under one roof. These shows also provide the opportunity to sample wares, view vendors’ work and compare your level of comfort with other vendors you may already be considering. Many bridal shows feature fashion shows where the latest in men’s formalwear, bridesmaid’s dresses, and bridal gowns are
presented. It is a good idea to bring a note pad and pencil so you can take notes on your favorite dresses, tuxedos and the stores that offer them. Bridal shows range in size from 30 to 200 exhibitor booths. They normally take place on weekends. In addition to fashion shows, food samples and entertainment are also featured. There are numerous door prizes and contests to enter so bring stick-on labels with your name, address, wedding date and email address. Consider a special wedding email address that can be deleted after your wedding date to make registering for prizes easier. Local bridal shows generally advertise on the radio, in bridal magazines, and in the newspaper. Local merchants, especially bridal salons, have information on shows in your area as well.

Volunteer Together Visit a local shelter or charity and serve someone. Not only are you having fun with your fiancé, it’s a great way to give back to your community.
Explore a Local Park Sometimes the best adventures are right outside your door!
(that won’t break the wedding budget!)
Have a Game Night Ask your friends over and play some good ole fashioned board games. You don’t realize how competitive your friends are until Monopoly comes into the picture!
DIY Day You know all those pins you’ve saved on Pinterest and never tried? Now is the time to get crafty! You can probably find most of the items around your house.
Check out Open Houses Near You Who doesn’t want to be Joanna Gaines? Why yes, we’ll take the $1,000 house without walls. We can shiplap that. (JK, please don’t do that!)
Watch the Worst Movies on Netflix Ask your friends for ideas. Sometimes all you need is a good laugh with the person you love to have a great night. Don’t forget the popcorn.
Grab a Disposable Camera Walk around and take pictures of each other with this oldie but goodie. After you’ve used all 28 of your pics, get them developed. The cloud may fail you, but prints last (almost) forever.
