Kevin Knowles, Isaiah Finnie and Ruben Hyppolite. These are defensive players on the McArthur football team and they led the Mustangs to two consecutive shutouts. They prevented University School and South Broward from scoring. Hyppolite plays linebacker and he will enroll this spring at the University of Maryland and participate in spring practice. He is looking forward to playing college football.

Members of the Hollywood Eagles were honored at a Hollywood Commission meeting. The under 13 girls team won a national tournament in Gatlinburg, Tennessee over the summer. They are considered on the best under 13 girls teams in the nation. They are part of the Hollywood Eagles Youth Development program. Many of the girls will go on to play high school and college basketball.
