Make sure you could get help at a moment like this. Only one medical alert pendant can call for help even when you can’t… Lifeline with AutoAlert When you experience a fall, every second counts. Delayed medical care can jeopardize your recovery and independence. The Philips Lifeline Medical Alert service provides fast access to help 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our new Lifeline with AutoAlert option provides an added layer of protection by automatically placing a call for help if a fall is detected and you can’t push your button because you are disoriented, immobilized or unconscious. With Lifeline with AutoAlert you can get help two ways: By simply pressing the AutoAlert help button anytime. Or, if a fall is detected and you are unable to press your button, AutoAlert will automatically call for help. Don’t let a delayed response time affect you.
For more information or to order call 1-800-LIFELINE. *Autoalert option is locally available at participating Lifeline programs. AutoAlert does not detect 100% of falls. If able, users should always push their button when they need help.
WELCOME The Ohio Association of Area Agencies on Aging (o4a) is proud to present the 22nd Annual Conference on Aging on September 12 and 13, 2011, at Embassy Suites in Dublin, Ohio. This two-day conference is designed for a broad range of people who serve older adults, including Area Agency on Aging staff, Advisory Council and Board Members, Ohio Department of Aging staff, service provider staff, health care professionals, policy makers, educators, volunteers, advocates, and students. As defined by its mission, o4a is a nonprofit organization and a statewide network of agencies that provide services for older Ohioans, as well as advocate on their behalf. The Association addresses issues that have an impact on the aging network, serves as a collective voice for Ohio's Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), and provides services to members and associates. The annual conference provides educational opportunities consistent with the mission. This conference presents the ideal opportunity to learn of challenges to our network and to gather the tools to adapt to coming changes. Whether or not this is your first visit to our conference, you will find the expert speakers, the sponsors, and fellow conference participants provide an energizing learning experience. The three preconference intensives, twelve workshops, and three general sessions offer cutting-edge information for the aging network. Of course, this conference would not be possible without the wonderful support of our sponsors. At the sponsor exhibits, participants explore new technology, resources, and services in a relaxed atmosphere. o4a wishes to thank Philips Lifeline for their Title Sponsorship of the 2011 conference once again.
