Coconut Yogurt Recipe Nourishme Organics

2 14oz Cans of Coconut Milk 2 Probiotic Capsules 2 Teaspoons of Gelatin 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Sugar

Glass jars with lids, for storing the yogurt Measuring spoons Medium saucepan Whisk Thermometer, optional Instructions


Instructions Dissolve gelatin Powder with 1/4 cup of coconut milk


Heat the remaining coconut milk at low heat until it’s hot but do not let it boil.


Take the heated coconut milk off the stove and mix the gelatin mixture and sugar into the hot coconut milk.


Pour the coconut milk into a clean 2 quart size jar.


Pour the starter culture into the coconut milk and mix well.


If you want to add probiotic capsule it is the right time to add it. so open the capsule and pour it into the warm coconut milk.


Cover the container and keep the coconut milk at 100-115 degrees for 18-24 hours.


Important Note

If the yogurt develops a pink or grey discoloration on its surface, that means it has been contaminated with bad bacteria. Throw it away and do not eat it.
