What‘s my color? by Jennifer Petz dedicated to Aiden for his 3rd birthday

Let your colors shine!

I went for a walk and I saw a strawberry. „Hello,“ said the strawberry „I am red, what color are you?“

„I don‘t know.“ I said with a smile.

I went for a walk and I saw a fish. „Hello,“ said the fish „I am orange, what color are you?“

„I don‘t know.“ I said with a little smile.

I went for a walk and I saw a sunflower. „Hello,“ said the sunflower „I am yellow, what color are you?“

„I don‘t know.“ I said softly.

I went for a walk and I saw a frog. „Hello,“ said the frog „I am green, what color are you?“

„I don‘t know.“ I said sadly.

I went for a walk and I saw a pond. „Hello,“ said the pond „I am blue, what color are you?“

„I don‘t know.“ I said worriedly.

I went for a walk and I saw a starfish. „Hello,“ said the starfish „I am violet, what color are you?“

„I don‘t know.“ I said even more worried.

I went for a walk and I saw a bunch of grapes. „Hello,“ said the grapes „We are indigo, what color are you?“

„I don‘t know.“ I answered. And then I began to think very hard...

„I know!“ I cried out... „I am all the colors! Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet and indigo.“ „All the colors I can see are all the colors that make me,

ME!“
