2012-2013. Sync OTR: GROW. Senior Capstone.

This conceptual outreach organization, “Sync OTR, ” advances the community of Over-theRhine, an impoverished and historically rich neighborhood in Cincinnati with a high percentage of lowerincome youth. Our group’s design contains three facilities that work together to better connect the neighborhood. They include a Homeless Shelter and Recreational Facility, a Restaurant and a Job Training Facility, and my focus, a Youth Center for creative development and early learning.

R ET H IN K RDI’s 2012 Retail Design Competition called for entries to “re-think high-end retail during an economic strain”. E.D.G.E. attracts fashion forward consumers by exposing artistic accessory collections through the “Exceptional, Distinctive, Gifted and Engaging” talents of luxury designers. The store promotes artists through creative product displays and unique technology opportunities including digital fitting rooms and an interactive product database.

2011 PEOPLE’S MUSEUM. Neighborhood Rehibilitation.

The People’s Museum explores virtual versus tactile storytelling. Momento boxes allows patrons to physically explore a former Overthe-Rhine resident’s life through documented possessions, photographs, and recorded stories. Interactive tablets transfer stories of visitors to projected screens at the entrance.

E XPERI EN CE The internships at GBBN, M Moser, Gensler, and HOK allowed me to contribute in design teams. These renderings represent various projects I’ve worked on including design, drawings, FFE, or construction documents. Projects were in conjuction with another designer overseeing and guiding final decisions. These renderings represent from left to right, Nucraft’s Showroom in Chicago, a Houstan Law Firm, a health care deliverable package for the University of Missouri Health Care System, and Children’s Hospital Family Resource Center in Cincinnati. COLLABORATION All projects shown here collaborated through the professional practice program

2010-2013 INTERNSHIPS.
