The Horn Museum Cuneiform Collection The Institute of Archaeology of Andrews Universty and the Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative (CDLI), an international research project based at the University of California, Los Angeles, present a database of the 2940 inscribed objects in the Siegried H. Horn Museum collection. Our collection is the 7th largest in the United States. The cuneiform tablets here were digitized, using either originals in Berrien Springs, Michigan, or copies published by Marcel Sigrist, following the standard conventions of the CDLI. The full catalog of the collection, including transliterations and translations of the texts, and word and sign glossaries is currently under construction. Our Cuneiform Tablet Collection range from the Sumerian period to Neo-Babylonian times. They have been studied and their contents have been published by Andrews University Press. The tablets date from the Third Dynasty of Ur to the neo-Babylonian period.
