UW Credit Union E-Commerce Center Corporate Design 3750 University Ave, Madison, WI 1200 sf | Occupancy Class B A bank has always been a symbol of security, integrity, and historic significance, which are key elements in the proposed design for the UW Credit Union. Workstations are symmetrically organized with adjacencies to the manager’s offices to allow for easy visual access to call agents. The ceilings over the workstations include a historically familiar theme of domes designed using custom acoustical ceiling panels. The large break area is divided by a custom acoustical wall designed to mimic safe deposit boxes. Large scale decals throughout the office display images of historic bank features alongside classic round columns. Classic materials and motifs are incorporated into the design upholstery, flooring and decorative lighting selections. Red is the dominant accent color that ties the e-commerce center to it’s founders from the University of Wisconsin. A modern twist on this classic space includes a juice bar, coffee bar, bicycle storage and arcade area meeting the needs of todays modern employee in this office where the past meets present.

Roof Top Terrace
Restaurant Design 1001 5th Ave New York City, NY 13,600 sf | Occupancy Class A The heated rooftop terrace will host the largest concentration of dining space while the large bar and lounge area will be the main focal point of the restaurant. All interior dining arrangements will feel intimate, yet connected to the night life feel of Dusk. Celestial motifs will blanket the restaurant while a dynamic lighting design will set the ultimate mood for the space in high contrast to the rich dark materials. Our aim is to provide an all over sensory experience through a celestial inspired design and menu offering signature cocktails and food artistically crafted using molecular gastronomy techniques expertly perfected over years of practice by our chef, Marcus Florentine.

Study Abroad: Kenya, Africa Through a design studies program in Kenya, I was able to experience the culture, traditions and architecture of a country completely different from that of the United States. The designs I studied and the experiences I had while in Kenya are those that will continue to influence my life and design decisions in the future. The passion for photography started while on this trip, leading to this collage of my journey.
Curio Shop
the DEPOT Design Exploration & Progress Opportunities Together
Global Design Experience Thraraka, Kenya, Africa Community Center In Gatunga we stayed with a woman named Aniceta who’s late husband owned a bar in the middle of the village and after his passing the bar sits abandon. While there we measured the existing structure and interviewed the people who lived near the village to understand the needs they had that this facility could fulfill. After coming back to the States, I collaborated with another student to come up with this proposed design for what will become the DEPOT, a community center. The design intent is to renovate the existing space to include a curio shop, a large meeting area, offices for the TWWP staff, a kitchen, and dedicated space for workshops for soap making, lotion making and seed extraction. Keeping the design simple, but improving the layout and use of space is the main objective while using locally sourced and readily available materials is just as important. With the help of Merry Go Strong we hope to be awarded a grant for this project.

CIDA Interior Architecture Showcase UW-Madison Interior Architecture Program was up for CIDA review in the fall of 2017. I was responsible for painting, multiple course layouts, and helping with the design of the gallery.

While interning at Flad I was apart of a team with multiple disciplines working on two government SCIF buildings for a confidential client. I was given permission to display these few renderings. I was responsible for selecting the materials and finishes and designing the furniture layouts in the collaborative and break spaces for these very preliminary renderings. Office and workstation furniture typicals, custom wall and ceiling architectural elements preparing furniture plans, ceiling plans, finish plans, elevation sheets, and details for construction documents were some of the tasks I worked on for these two buildings.
