AGILE OFFICE Project, PUNE The project being a proposal for a leading IT company with a different work atmosphere, break even themes and functionalism, is designed as an AGILE OFFICE space. The first proposal consisted of functional spaces like workstations, meeting rooms, discussion rooms, conference halls, cafĂŠs, etc. where they were broken down to OUTDOOR theme comprising of parks, typical streets, plazas, seas and island spaces. Includes workstations, meeting rooms, discussion rooms, cafĂŠ and hangout spaces.

TCS Prestige Shantiniketan, BENGALURU. 12MM PLY OVER WALL FINISHED IN LAMINATE (SALT & PEPPER)
Located in one of the major IT hubs in Whitefield and owned by TCS group in Prestige Shantiniketan campus. The requirement was to design the wall opposite to the lobby and the corridor connecting to it BLUE LAMINATE/PAINT by breaking the space from the routine style. The materials used LED for the walls are plywood frames with height variations mounted on the wall, ending with white frosty laminated finish and a blue LED light flowing througout the wall.

TCS Global Axis, Whitefield, BENGALURU. Located in Whitefield in an IT park for TCS. The double height lobby space required a reception table design which syncs with the interior and yet stand outs in a modern minimalistic design scheme. Materials used were black lacquered glass, 4mm thick veneer wooden finish and frosty laminates for the cabinets.

TCS Global Axis, Whitefield , BENGALURU. Located in Whitefield in an IT park for TCS. The lobby space which is of double height required a ceiling light fixture which contrasts the interior walls and ceiling design. Hexagonally designed light fixtures of 600mm side with 50mm thickness were fabricated and placed in an irregular way, such that the lights illuminate in a hexagonal form and emphasize the shape.

The concept evolves from gears. The basic mechanism of a gear is to work or run a machine. The idea is related to the main gears as RESIDENCE GEARS which works and runs the activity gears, thus running the whole site.

DORMITORY, STUDENTS VILLAGE OMR, CHENNAI DESIGN Massive circular brick design with proper orientation and supports natural ventilation. Courtyard and balconies and terrace garden emphasizes the whole sturcture creating an atomosphere suitable for students community.

The widespread courtyard is a space which frames the character of the interior space. Helps in ventilation and acts as a relaxing space for the students.
The roof is designed in such a way that the rain water is collected at each columns and carried through ducts and transfered to the bottom pits.

MATERIALS
The dorm becomes the major back bone in framing the lifestyle of a student. The dorm provieds a platform for forming a community space for students from different universities.
The facade is mainly designed using a fusion of brick and glass. The internal courtyard is built using concrete and finished in paint and concrete.

The dorm is the prime space of students village, which is designed in a circular way, consisting of rooms with balcony access and attached toilets, internal common courtyard and terrace garden. Light and ventilation, with a touch for nature is the prime emphasizing factors that frame the design of the space. A wide entrance opens up to a circular ring space which indeed touches the internal courtyard, a space that is designed for the students community. Spaces like these play a vital role in creating positivity, close to nature feel and accommodating day to day life of students, further framing their thoughts, actions and deeds. The internal courtyard is finished in concrete and the walls of staircase are finished in active color pallets. The rooms consists of an attached toilet, bed, and a study area and an opening to a private balcony. Each balcony could be accessed by 4 members adjacent to the space. In a way each balcony inter connects 4 rooms forming a minor community space. Towards the top most, a terrace garden space is designed for students to relax and feel the nature.

The dorm consisting of G +4 floors, having 288 rooms in total giving priority for services and needs of the students. Each room is of 18sqm, out of which 4sqm is balcony and rest study, bed and rest room. The hostel is finished in bricks and interior courtyard in concrete.
APARTMENT, STUDENTS VILLAGE OMR, CHENNAI The residential sector in students village is given major importance as it frames the character and lifestyle of the students. Students village comprises of 3 blocks of apartments which are for boys, girls, and staff. They are located towards the north corner of the plot. The apartment located at north east is the womens apartment, and the one at the extreme west is the mens apartment. The apartment in between is for the staffs of the students village who takes responsibility of the managment system in the community.

It consists of 16 car parking facility per block. Additional car and bikes could be parked in front of the apartment and in front of the hostel space. The building consists of G+4 floors inclusive of parking in ground floor, stairs and lift.

Each apartment consist of 80 sqft. The door opens up to a living/dining and open kitchen space, where it’s the common interior space for the students to relax. It further consists of 2bedroom bath attached and private balcony spaces. Each apartment is interconnected with common balconies towards the 4 corners again creating a communal space for the students. It’s also designed with adequate amount of privacy required. The backyard of the apartment is well lit and landscaped with plants, shrubs and trees with a welcoming water body and gazebos. 3 major gazebos for 3 of the blocks are provided.
AUDITOIRUM, STUDENTS VILLAGE OMR, CHENNAI Located out of the residential area, making it also accessible for the students residing outside the students village. The seating capacity of this auditorium is of 300 seats at a time. This space is meant for curricular activities to support the needs of the student, involving participation of stage activities, drama, theatre and various workshops, etc. It is designed in a quadrilateral form with a fusion of materials using fiber glass and brick work. The stairs at ground level lead to the entrance further leading to the seats and towards the stage. The back stage consists of a green room, toilets and two exits towards the sides.

LIBRARY, STUDENTS VILLAGE OMR, CHENNAI The entrance towards the site faces straight towards the library building, making it accessible for the students outside and inside the campus equally efficient and short. The library consists of g+2 floors, where a widespread reading space of double height is seen towards the inner part of the library, spiral staircases are provided for accessing books at the 1st floor level. This platform further connects to a tree house located outside the building which could be used as a reading space for the students. The top most floor consists of admin block and digital library for students, staff area and services. This block could be one of the most prominent libraries in the stretch of omr road.

The first floor starting from the stair case and lift located at the center leads to an open space opposite to it. the reading space located beneath the stairs and lift is not accessible through the first floor. Lecture rooms and Audio visual rooms are provided in the first floor for conducting classes, workshops, seminars. Next to lecture room is the study room, where students in groups or as an individual could sit, concentrate and learn. The second floor consists of a digital library space towards the south corner facilitating 48 students at a time to use the system. Towards the north east the admin block space is provided. The admin coordinates the working and processing of the students community on a daily basis. It includes open work stations as well as offices for managing director, assistants, staff room and staff offices. Towards the north west side more study rooms are provided for students to learn on their own. The staffs could also conduct extra classes for the students in these spaces. The materials used in designing the main frame is brick and strucutred in concrete. The interiors are finished in paint.

ARTS CENTER , STUDENTS VILLAGE OMR, CHENNAI. The students require a space to practice and perform art. In order to provide that purpose, the students village gives a platform for learning, practicing and performing art. Open to the public. Various spaces like arts and crafts, drawing, painting, photography, music classes, dance etc are concentrated. It also has a radio station working towards the top of the arts block. As the library, the arts center is also linked upon the tree house connecting art and nature. It could help create an arts club within the campus, having students from different colleges and universities.

6 tree houses are arranged in a manner that they receive enough shade and light utilizing the maximum of daylight energy. Keeping it very basic and simple, to not lose the natural feel connecting the environment was the prime key to design the space. The trees are interconnected and further connected to the arts and library block only, so that the students could use for art, music and reading purposes. The tree house comprises of area 6m diameter and a height of 3.5m from ground level. The vicinity beneath the tree house acts as a park and a hangout space, outdoor gathering for the public.

MOUNTAIN RIDGE PLANTATIONS PRIVATE LTD. PATHANAMTHITA, KERALA. The aim was to create a logo design for the plantation company based in Pathanamthita, kerala. The client demanded for a simple design.
