idea sheet idea: designing a system so kids could make a skelet of a camp. So they could throw their sheets over it and have their little adventure camp. Also a modular system, so they will not be limited in making camps. They should be able to build as big as they want or as small as they want. Making it a stand alone item. They could place it everywhere they want to. No limitations.
how am i going to achieve this? by using plastic sticks. And designing tons of connections parts. Making it house friendly, i’ll be using suction cups as base parts. So you can stick it on the floor, wall, window. And use that part as a start point. Which will make it Everybody has their own favourite sheets. So why not use those instead of adding one to the package, which they’ll probably not lik that much as their favourite Disney sheet.
impact on the market, consumer, ...?
The product will not change the world. But what’s a better feeling than making a child happy? And if you can also make the parents happy, when the kids will be using this product instead of trashing the sofa. No more searching after all the pillows.

the biggest change is the modular system. With the products now (only few exceptions) you’re always stuck with the way it has to be build. No fantasy, just the way the designer wants you to build it. You can also give expansion packages for birthdays or something like that. Because there are no limitations on how many sticks you connect to your tent.

project sheet name project: connect&play challenge explained in few sentences: i want to give children a product where they can create their own world. Or just want to make a super cool camp. But i don’t want them to remodel the whole sofa. Something they can leave for a couple days/weeks/... Something they can build as big as they want or as small as they want to. Create as they just have it in their minds. Not the designer’s mind.
different deadlines first the idea deadline, (17/11/2017) where we need to have a concrete idea on paper. than my second deadline, is actually just as fast as possible change that idea into a physic object. final deadline is 17th of January where i have to present the product.

outree, tent indoor. Super easy to build, just 8 sticks (4 for the base) and a sheet to cover your construction. However, the only thing you can build with it is a tipi. Broozzer cardboard playhouse, is according to the reviews very difficult to set up. And very big, because once you have put it together it’s difficult to take apart without damaging the structure.
intex, opblaasbare speeltent €25.99
fantasy forts, huttenbouw pakket €30,97

Intex is a inflatable tent, which is as we all do remember our swimming pools, a really difficult thing to put away properly when you’re not using it. The box it came in is useless, you can never put it back in that box.

Her weekends exist of playing in the living room, if the weather allows it, playing outside. She also likes going to her grandparents. Except they don’t have that much toys. Or really old ones. So if she spends the night there, her mother always takes some toys with her. But only really small stuff. Or bgig things that are really compact.
describe user’s environment. Only 4years old. behavior patterns aren’t really that predicatble. She just plays as much as she can, and enjoys life as much as she can. Also loves to watch some cartoons, or draw some pictures, just like most kids of that age do.
