Blood thinning property of cinnamon acts as an anti-clotting agent, particularly for those people who are suffering from heart disease. Some people are allergy to cinnamon. The symptoms seen on the affected people are watery eyes, running nose, shortness of breath, facial or hand swelling, nausea, dizziness and even sudden drop in blood pressure. Cinnamon irritates the skin and creates a burning sensation if touched without diluting. So, cinnamon oil should always be diluted before use. As cinnamon increases heart rate, high dose of cinnamon could be dangerous for people suffering from heart condition.
