There are two forms of architecture, one is to integrate into the environment, while the other is independent from the environment. In my view, good design not only respects history, but also probes into the future and looks forward to taking the user's own experience as an important part of the design. For a period of time after completing the preliminary design, I would repeatedly reflect and criticize my design from various angles, rethink profoundly on my wrong practices, and try my best to realize the integration of traditional style and modern function. As Josef Paul kleihue, a German architect, once said: : “the essence of critical design is to combine the traditional urban planning and architectural concepts with the advanced technology of modernism.” Therefore, we architects and planners should use creative methods to enable citizens to have a better future. This is also the standard as well as the summary for the whole collection of my design works.
