1.15 - 1.55pm in C14 run by Sixth Form students and supported by Mr Milner and Miss Hopkins. It is about ordinary people coming together to protect human rights, so come along and make a difference.

After School: The College Magazine (Years 7-13)
3.30 - 5.00pm in C16 with Mr Milner. The Magazine is the College’s major, annual publication. The Magazine is now student-authored and students take the lead in producing it. Opportunities are available for writers, photographers, illustrators, editors and those interested in marketing and design.

3.30 - 5.30pm in R13 with Miss Hopkins. An opportunity to watch and discuss some thought provoking and powerful films.

A Level English Drop-in Session
1.15 - 1.55pm in C14 with Mr Milner and Mrs Hotton. Come along for help with any aspect of your English A Level studies, to talk about your wider reading, or to discuss university applications for English or related subjects. (Feel free to bring your lunch).

JCG Music Department Extra Curricular Clubs *Highly Strung rehearses three times per week (times above) so that as many of our string players as possible are able to participate in either lunchtime or after school rehearsals. Highly Strung and Camerata are initiatives sponsored by the Extended Music Programme through the JCG Foundation. ALL string players are invited and encouraged attend one of these rehearsals, irrespective of whether you receive tuition in school or privately. They are directed by our musician in residence, Gerard Le Feuvre, whose unique gift is making everything accessible and fun. All senior orchestral woodwind and brass players and pianists who would choose Camerata if it were available beyond strings, should let Mrs Le Feuvre/Mrs Edelenbos know of their interest as a first step, as it may be possible to tailor this option to include you.
Musical dates for your diary String Jamboree: a course for ALL Highly Strung and Camerata string players. Thursday 10 October: 4 - 6pm for Highly Strung, with pizza supper and an informal concert from 7 - 7.30pm. Friday 11 October: 3 - 6pm Camerata (senior strings) Saturday 12 October: 4pm and 8pm A Night at the Movies Camerata (senior strings) perform with the King’s Chamber Orchestra, St Paul’s Church, New Street, St Helier Thoroughly Modern Millie - Tuesday 3 December to Saturday 7 December at 7.30pm in the JCG Hall. Jersey Symphony Orchestra Christmas Concert featuring the JCG Chamber Choir Sunday 15 December, Fort Regent, 8pm. Tickets available online and from Fort Regent JCG Christmas Carol Service - Monday 16 December at 3.30pm at St Thomas’ Church
