The Venue 916 Salinas Ave, Laredo, TX 78040 Cultura Beer Garden is a hidden sparkling gem well placed in one of Laredo's most iconic galaxies: its historic downtown district. Its upstairs event space is the perfect venue for an intimate ceremony such as a wedding reception.
The Theme Starry Night / Celestial Love For centuries, the moon, stars, and sky have symbolized wonder and excitement in the same way a romance does. This theme serves to honor the love and future marriage of Ana and HĂŠctor.
"What would a celestial wedding reception look like?" You may ask... Let's Take a Look!
The Atmosphere We want to create an environment of warmth, whimsicality and wonder
The Entrance This will be the first thing people will see. While, we will want to direct the guests into the proper entrance, we also want them to admire from the start the elegance and warmth of the couple's love.
Enter the Guests This is a new modern take on the guest signature book! It will be an elegant illustration of the beautiful couple but will tie in the celestial theme. This will be propped on top of an easel encouraging them to write their well wishes! It is also a great take home gift for the bride and groom!

Lighting To create the warm atmosphere that the night sky brings you, I want the space to be filled with tea lights that will illuminate the entire event space feeling the room with mystery, wonder, and light.
The Table Decor Classic Ivory, Celestial Blue, and Gold color theme table decorations My vision is an elegant tulle/sequin blue and gold tablecloth with some celestial mini lanterns decorative star pieces scattered finished off with some gold-ish toned bamboo grass for the centerpiece.
The Wall A picturesque accent wall We will have an accent wall being illuminated by string lights bearing the couple's initials against the lights (instead of the "Cheers"). This will serve as a great location for a photoop and not to mention will remind the invited guests of the illuminating love between Ana and HĂŠctor.
The Other Walls Decorated, brilliant walls to reflect the beauty of the stars and the moon The walls will be filled with celestial decor that will help transport the guests into another galaxy.
Windows To reflect being transported into another dimension... Casual but sleek celestial decorated curtain would put an elegant touch to any window. Since the curtains at the actual venue will clash with the color scheme and theme they will need to be removed regardless. These perfect starry sheer curtains will work perfectly to set the mood and lighting environment for the venue!
Extra Wall Decor Something a little bit extra... This will help pull in the entire look together!
The Big Tables Sophisticated and elegant If we choose to have a table with snacks, these plates and decorative kitchenware would be the perfect addition! (Food not included but can supply nuts, dried fruits, and candy).
Homey Decor Warm, homey, comfortable feel The decor around the seating, such as the couches, will have a homey feel so guests are encouraged to relax and enjoy their night.
Treat Toppers Romantic & Classic Perfect to top off any treat, dessert or snack to give it that nice romantic touch or can be even used for pictures!
Elegant Balloon Ideas Balloons can have a really good effect... Especially when it is done right. This can help make a venue look more "grand" and "magestic"
Party Favors Le'ts send off the guests with a little something special! We can go with the option of drink (chamapgne or maybe hard liquor bottles) or food (such as a bag of Milkey Ways or another snack that I can come up with a nice celestial pun for!)
Other Ideas Let's leave a bang! We can also have a rented polaroid camera and have guests pin their pictures on one of our decorated walls with string lights as inspired by the pictures.
Other Ideas Let's tie everything in!! A focal piece such as a neon sign or a big mirror (one that is already at the event venue) that we can write a special message on will make a HUGE impact on this type of event!
