This booth is fabricated with recycled, recyclable, repulpable panels.
• 90% post-consumer waste • 100% recyclable • secured using organic glues • SmartBoard material can be made into other products at the end of its life cycle – for instance, mulch!
THINK BEFORE YOU INK
Every graphic in this booth was created using UV inks and not one of them has a sunburn.
• UV curing means no toxic VOCs. • VOCs are typically emitted from petroleum-based inks as they dry, which are damaging to human health and contribute to global warming.
WELCOME TO THE GREEN LIGHT DISTRICT
All lights illuminating this booth are lowenergy LEDs.
• LEDs can be up to 98% more efficient than incandescent or halogen bulbs. • The rated life span of an LED can be up to 100,000 hours (over 11 years of continuous operation). In comparison, an incandescent light bulb lasts approximately 1,000 hours.
CHANGE COMES FROM THE GROUND UP
You are treading with a very light footprint over FLOR carpet tiles, made with 70% recycled content.
• Formaldehyde-free FLOR tiles are made with renewable and recycled post-industrial and post-consumer recycled content, and they are 100% recyclable. • This flooring will be reused after the show. • As a leader in sustainable flooring, FLOR products are both LEED-certified and Cradle-to-Cradle certified. • FLOR products meet the Carpet and Rug Institute’s (CRI) Green Label Plus standards for VOC emissions.
WEIGH LESS MEANS WAY LESS
All materials used to create and crate this booth are extremely lightweight and are therefore less resourceintensive to ship.
• Compared to traditional building methods, we are saving over 7,000 lbs each time a 20’ x 20’ SmartBooth ships. • For a 20’ x 20’ SmartBoard-constructed booth, this means an 82% reduction in booth shipping (and drayage) weight.
OUR SHIPMENTS GET AN EPA STAMP
This booth was transported by an EPA-certified SmartWay shipper.
• Our shipper, EliteXpo Cargo Systems, plants one tree per shipment to replenish the environment.
WE CARPOOL WITH OUR NEIGHBORS
This booth was shipped along with the booths of other STUDIOetc clients exhibiting at this show in order to reduce fossil fuel waste.
• In addition, STUDIOetc purchases carbon offsets for all transportation of the needed booth materials to the event.
TOO MANY LEAVE-BEHINDS ARE LEFT BEHIND ... IN LANDFILLS
We very intentionally decided to reduce the number of promotional handouts at this event.
• 40% of the solid mass that makes up our landfills is paper and paperboard waste.
