MISSION STATEMENT 2200 is an exploration of future living. It serves to push the boundaries of performance garment production through means of new construction methods and innovative selling experiences. New, modern and next drives the consumer to purchase futuristic products that are designed exclusively for them.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY 2200 has innovation at its heart, looking towards the future of what could or will be relevant through extensive trend research. 2200 explores ways in which conceptual performance garments will enhance the consumers life in the future. 2200 products are sold exclusively through the Dover Street Market chain and online retailers FarFetch whilst also providing the brands own website for a more personal experience. 2200 garments are hand crafted at the point of sale to ensure premium, seasonless and quality garments that are made to last exclusively for the consumer. 2200s USP is that garments are manufactured by a futuristic method of sonic welding in store and top-stitched to ensure durable performance and encourage customer contact with the brand. 2200 has sustainability at its core through key consideration of design, manufacturing and marketing considering both environmental and socio-economic aspects. 2200 products are manufactured in the same country they are purchased to ensure the carbon footprint of the brand is reduced and to allow better quality control. 2200 is innovative in its use of the virtual online experience allowing all customers to be involved in the brand experience of purchase. 2200s ESP allows us to build customer loyalty by maintaining sizing information to make it easy for customers to return and shop with us again creating a heritage brand of the future.







This research project is an exploration of future living. It is a women’s-wear capsule collection that explores innovative conceptual garments for 2200. Heavily driven by trend analysis, there is a large focus on performance outerwear and style influences from the cyber punk movement. Due to the ever-changing social and political implications of sustainability, the need to protect one’s self will become even more important to the consumer of 2200.
