The Buford City School System, the Buford Board of Education, and the Buford City Commission extend sincere congratulations to the senior Class of 2022. We are so proud to now call you Buford alumni. Triple A Excellence has been a hall mark of Buford High School, and your graduating class has embodied excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts. As graduates of the Class of 2022, you have demonstrated excellence in each of these areas. Your class is leaving a legacy of excellence that brings pride to Buford City Schools and continues the tradition of excellence that has been carried on by graduates before you. Be proud of your achievements, and take the essence of these accomplishments with you into the next chapter of your life. And remember, once a Wolf, always a Wolf.

Dear Senior Class of 2022,

It is my privilege to celebrate this milestone with you. I remember many of you when your journey began as Kindergartners at Buford Elementary School. I got to know many more of you through our time together at Buford Middle School. It has been an honor to serve you in my various roles and a joy watching how you've grown and matured.

Your graduating class is filled with young people who have achieved many accomplishments in academics, athletics, and the arts, along with many other activities worthwhile to Buford High School and this community.

Your class exemplifies the Buford City Schools motto of Triple “A” Excellence.

Although your class will be known for its many achievements, those accomplishments do not compare to the incredible character you have shown. You were respectful and always showed class in any event. You supported one another, and no amount of championships can top that. Your character will take you further in life than any championship.

Congratulations on your many successes! I am so proud of you. You have reached this point through your hard work and perseverance. However, no one achieves success alone. As you look back on your educational journey, remember to show gratitude to the teachers, coaches, friends, extended family members, and most of all, your parents, who have positively impacted you along the way.

As you embark on your next journey, remember your Buford roots and the community that has supported you. Continue to be responsible, work hard, and strive for success. After all, you will be representing Buford, as you will always be known as a “Buford Wolf.”

Dear Members of the Class of 2022,

Congratulations seniors for your many accomplishments in the fields of academics, athletics, and the arts and for representing Buford High School and this community in a manner of excellence. During that time frame you have endured adversity and change, from a new high school building, leadership changes, and a pandemic. In spite of all these obstacles and challenges, your determination and perseverance remained, and you were able to achieve unprecedented successes.

Famous film director Nora Ephron said, “Your education is a dress rehearsal for a life that is yours to lead.” Buford High School has provided you with the tools to reach your full potential as lifelong learners and effective members of society. Continue striving and continue reaping the benefits of your hard work throughout the rest of your life, and always remember that Buford High School is here to support you along your chosen path.

I hope that our motto of Excellence will stay with you as approach your future endeavors, and my wish is that you will remember to give back to this wonderful community that has nurtured you over the years.
