Congratulations to the Class of 2022!

The accomplishments of your class are remarkable and in many ways historic. You represented Buford High School with Triple A Excellence, achieving great accomplishments academically, athletically and artistically throughout your high school careers. We have watched you achieve greatness in many areas while representing Buford in a great way.

I am so proud of the leadership, commitment and discipline the Class of 2022 displayed this past year, as the official leaders of the Wolves. Despite many changes and challenges throughout your four years, you responded with maturity, class and determination and continued the great tradition of excellence, poise and respect in every aspect of life and school. The Class of 2022 is leaving Buford HS and Buford “better than they found it.” You were proud to represent Buford, and you made Buford proud.

Our seniors are the key to athletic success, and the Wolves achieved great success with you leading the way. The Class of 2022 left Buford as the 2022 and 2021 GADA 6A Directors Cup Champions, an honor awarded to the best overall athletic program in the state. You also won a total of 15 State Championships during your careers, including 5 during your senior year. 56 of you signed college scholarships to continue your academic and athletic careers in college.

The Class of 2022 continued our great standard of excellence by giving of yourselves to your team, your teammates, your school and your community. Throughout the year we have seen great individual accomplishments, but even greater acts of leadership, selflessness, commitment, toughness, discipline, perseverance, poise and class. The intangibles you displayed will be a great part of your legacy at BHS, as you have created a culture of behaviors and expectations for future classes to follow.

As proud as we are of your accomplishments, we are even prouder of the support you consistently displayed for each other. Your class was close, and you continually displayed this through your support of each other in all you attempted. You began high school as a class, and grew into a family that supported each other and pushed each other to greatness.

We are so proud of the Class of 2022, and very thankful for your many contributions to our school this year and throughout the past four years. The legacy of excellence you are leaving will be remembered for years to come.
