Introduction
Best Vintage, Newcastle, will be an innovative and exciting shopping experience for old and new customers. Long gone are the days of rummaging through clothes bins and sifting through jam packed rails. This Visual Merchandising scheme will ensure Best Vintage lives up to its name and becomes one of the ‘Best’ vintage shops in the North of England. The ground level will be dedicated to women’s vintage clothing. As you will see from the following images within this booklet the theme of the women’s section is a delicious mix of New England and shabby vintage chic. With floral wallpaper, suitcase tables and rustic door-less cupboards this floor is a feast for the eyes yet the clothing still remains the main focus. Take a wander up the stairs to the first floor and you will reach the men’s section. To carry on the celebration of all things British a giant antique union jack will be used as decoration as well as stunning black and white photographs of iconic music legends. A vintage guitar and Marshall amplifiers are also used to decorate the space and male customers will even have the luxury of red velvet changing rooms. The white walls and wooden flooring will be present throughout the store, joining the two floors together. Best Vintage will be a light and spacious environment which will make the store more accessible to those who are not regular vintage shoppers. Leading the way in vintage retail it is time to be out with new and in with the old. Welcome to the revolution...

It will be another way of corresponding with customers. The door on the right will be open to let male customers go upstairs to the men’s section. The chaise lounge is the perfect resting place for tired shoppers.
Section G. Customers trying on clothing will be able to come out of the changing room and take a better look in the large mirror on the wall outside. The pink strips either side will remain from the current shop. Light bulbs on both sides light up the mirror and for a nice touch butterfly fairy lights will hang between the bulbs.
