The ‘Jesus Calls’ one day Special Blessing Meetings at Bethesda Prayer Centre, Puducherry Union region and in Perambalur were miraculous. At all the three meetings, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran gave the word of the Lord and prayed powerfully for the people who attended the meeting.

On July 1st, a Special Blessing Meeting was held at the Bethesda Prayer Tower at 1:30 pm. This day was special as it was the birthday of Bro. D.G.S Dhinakaran. Samuel Dhinakaran led the session with praise and worship, and Dr. Paul reminisced about how Jesus Calls Ministry began and testified how God was a miracle worker in their lives. Multitudes of people who attended this meeting received healing, blessings, deliverance, and miracles from the Lord and glorified His name by testifying for the Lord.

After 19 years, the ‘Jesus Calls’ meeting was held at Puducherry on Saturday, 7th July 2018 at New Port Complex.

Thousands of people from Puducherry, Tindivanam, Villupuram, and Cuddalore attended this meeting. The meeting was made possible with the support of all the Church leaders. Her Excellency The Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, Dr. Kiran Bedi and Honorable Chief Minister Mr. V. Narayanasamy, participated in this Special Blessing Meeting and graced the occasion. Dr. Paul Dhinakaran specially prayed for blessings, prosperity and an increase in job opportunities for the people of Puducherry.

For the first time, the ‘Jesus Calls’ meeting was held in Perambalur on 8th July 2018. The Bishop of Trichy-Tanjore Diocese of the Church of South India, Rt. Rev. Dr. D. Chandrasekaran participated in the meeting held at the Roever campus and graced the occasion. Many people came to listen to the Word of the Lord and to receive the miracles from the Lord from Perambalur and Ariyalur regions. Many people, who were touched by the Lord, testified their miraculous experience.

“…I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.”

(Revelation 3:8) This month, our God will open doors that were closed in your life so far. No one can shut the door that is opened

by God for you (Revelation 3:7).

Are you perplexed thinking about the different doors in your life, such as the door regarding your job; holiness; health; promotion; family blessing; favor from men; your victory; are all closed? God is going to open the doors you expect to be opened. No one, including yourself, can shut that door opened by God. So, be bold.

In John 10:7, Lord Jesus says, “I am the gate for the sheep.” He will lead us towards the blessings.

Many years ago, my father had gone to a town for the first time, to give the Lord’s message. He was praying for the meeting that was to be held that evening. Suddenly, his throat tightened, and he could not speak. He panicked if he would be able to speak at the meeting that had already been arranged. At that time, the devil appeared in the form of a goddess of that town before my father and told him that the town was under her control, and no one can speak about Jesus in her town. It was she who tightened his throat so that he could not talk and commanded him to leave the town. However, my dad, instead of listening to that voice, he continued to pray to Jesus and pleaded to the Lord that “thousands of people will come with tears to the evening meeting without a hope for their future.

Only if I tell Your word and pray in Your name, they can be delivered from their problems and get answers. Please Lord, open my throat, and open this door for me.” At that moment, Jesus came down and stood by his side. Upon seeing Jesus, the devil was ashamed, ran away and disappeared. Jesus said to him, “I am moved for my children. Certainly, I will deliver them. People with these types of problems will come. Tell them this Word” and, immediately his throat opened.

Yes! Jesus Christ is the door of blessing to us. No devil can shut Him or the blessings from Him.

“For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.”

(Ephesians 2:14) “Having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us, and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.”

(Colossians 2:14) “Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death–that is, the devil.”

(Hebrews 2:14) Because His body was torn on the cross, the door of eternity opened. This month, whenever you confess His name, every door will open for you. So, cling on to Him. What are the various things that shut the doors for us in this world?

Mockery that shuts the Door “Now stop your mocking, or your chains will become heavier.”

(Isaiah 28:22) First, the sin of mockery closes the door for you. The Bible says that we should not mock others.

When Jesus hung on the cross, the strangers, and the sinners, mocked Him (Mark 15:20,31).

Because they mocked Him, their bondages became strong; the

doors closed, and their eyes became blind. Therefore, they lost the blessing of seeing Jesus, and they didn’t know God although they were desperate.

Today, are you troubled crying, “Will this sickness kill me?

Will it kill my family? How long should we suffer because of this closed door?” Jesus will help you. He will give you the same promise He gave to Hezekiah. He will add 15 more years.

Surely, He has taken up your infirmities and carried your sorrows.

Judas, the disciple of Jesus, was with Jesus but he set his heart on money. As he was handling the finance of the group, he stole money (John 12:6). So, he couldn’t understand the godliness of Jesus. He thought that by making Jesus as King, he could get a better portion. This is a mockery.

This bondage kept him tight, and he killed himself at the end (Matthew 27:5).

The Spirit of God dwells inside a man. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. The scripture says that if anyone destroys it, he will be destroyed by God (1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19). When a

man mocks God by indulging in wrong-doing because of his lust for money, the bondage becomes strong. As a result, his body changes to function as the temple of the devil instead of working as the temple of the Lord. The devil pushes the body of such people into the grave even while they are still living, and they become like dead people; they spoil their own life, and they torment their own body (Mark 5:5).

The devil always instigates one to sin. However, Jesus says, “I am the door for you. All those who are burdened come to me, I will give you rest. I will deliver you from all bondages; I will heal you from all such wounds” (Matthew 11:28). The Bible says, that when Jesus came in their direction, all the people who were in darkness saw a great light. All those who were in the darkness of death, received a great light” (Matthew 4:15).

Are you suffering from the bondage of mockery and sin?

God says, “I am going to loosen you; I am going to give you a new life; I am going to build a new house, I will forgive all your sins so that you can live in peace with an honorable life.” “Blood of Jesus will cleanse us from all iniquities and sins.” (1 John 1:7) Today the blood of Jesus will deliver you from the bondage of lust and mockery. help me.” God will answer your prayers, and He will open a new door, a new door of holiness for you. Then you can live as a child of God with joy.

Let’s read the testimony of dear brother Gunasekaran of Coimbatore whom Jesus delivered from his bondage of sin: My name is Gunasekaran. I live at Tiruppur, Palladam.

For 28 years, I was addicted to alcohol. In the year 1997, I got married. It was my wife who prayed for my deliverance. I used to mock the servants of God and holiness. I was afflicted by scabies and my wife took me to Bethesda Prayer Centre. Once the prayer intercessors prayed for me, I was healed. Because I was an alcoholic, I didn’t have even one meal a day, for 17 years. In 2017, I attended a Jesus Calls meeting that was held at Tiruppur, and Dr. Paul Dhinakaran said in his prayer, “You alcoholic devil, get away.” Immediately, I fainted and fell. I could feel something come out of me. When I got up, I could see a great deliverance in me. Dr. Paul in his prayer continued, “God will give you the power to drive away devils.” Slowly God started to deliver me from alcoholism. I was ultimately delivered, and my life changed. I began to bring people who had problems and sickness to Bethesda Prayer Centre for prayers. As 6

seen your tears. He will add fifteen years to your life” (Isaiah 38:1-5). He got back his life.

prophesied by Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, when I pray for people who are in the bondage of devil, they get delivered.

Today, Jesus, the door of holiness will transform your life. Pray, “Father, it’s enough that I have sinned so long; it’s enough of satan binding me. Lord, you shed your blood on the cross for me. Please forgive my sins; Lord remove all my bondages and open a door for me.” God will break the bondage and open doors of holiness.

Sickness that shuts the Door “…Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death.”

(Isaiah 38:1) Sickness is one of the doors that lock the door of progression.

Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. At that time, the prophet Isaiah went to him and said, “You will not rise out of bed that you are in now. You are going to die. This disease will end your life. It will bind you. You will not recover.” Hezekiah prayed to the Lord with tears. He who was nigh unto death did not cry to anybody and knowing that he is going to die, turned his face to the wall and cried, “Remember me, Lord.”

The Lord will turn the door of sickness into a door of good health.

He delivered King Hezekiah from his illness. He said, “We will sing with stringed instruments all the days of our lives in the temple of the Lord” (Isaiah 38:20). You will say, “From the bondage of death at home, I will go through Jesus, the door of healing and will be a testimony for Jesus.”

The same way God is going to change your life and make you sing His glory. God is going to create new organs in you and will remove the organs that are not functioning properly.

A bedridden man who could not walk was brought to Jesus.

Jesus looked at him and said, “Get up, rise up, take up your bed and go back to your home.” He got up and walked home happily (Matthew 9:6). A man in Bethesda could not walk for about 38 years.

Jesus went to him and said, “It’s

enough you are lying down on the streets. It’s enough the doors to your home are closed, and you are not able to go back. Today I am opening the door of your home for you. Go home and enjoy your life.

He rose up and walked (John 5:5-9).

God will heal you so that you do not have any need to visit hospitals. He is the God who heals you (Exodus 15:26). He will give you a new door so that you can work in such a way that sickness will not be a hindrance to do excellent work. He will enable you to take care of your family. He will send you to proclaim the gospel.

The family of Banumathi suffered living in poverty. In the midst of this, her husband was struck with a heart problem.

Due to sickness, he could not go to work. They had no financial help either. They started the treatment with no money in hand. The little money that they had was also used up and they had sunk into debts. In this unfortunate situation, one day her husband slipped and fell in the house, and his bone was broken. On the one hand, he had a heart disease and on the other side due to the fall, his legs stopped functioning. Doctors told that they could not do anything to save him. Even if they wanted to go to another hospital, they needed money which they did not have. They felt that the door for livelihood has been permanently closed.

Unexpectedly, they happened to watch a TV program of Jesus Calls. Precisely on that day, inspired by the Holy Spirit, I was repeatedly praying for the people who cannot walk. What a miracle! The power of Jesus Christ came upon him and he regained strength and God made him stand. Now the husband of Banumathi walks like a healthy man. God has given him a new heart, and he goes to work and takes care of his family. God, the door of healing will do the same for you.

So, don’t be worried.

This month, surely Jesus will touch you and heal you. By His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24). His stripes heal us. He will touch you with His stripes. The wounds that He bore on the cross will heal you. If your kidney has stopped functioning, a miracle would happen. He will make you live. God will open the door of healing and shut the door of sickness!

Wicked people who shut the Door “On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace be with you!”

(John 20:19) The evil schemes of wicked people close our doors to life.

Therefore, we feel trapped and

suffer all alone. Fear of man will prove to be a snare (Proverbs 29:25). Fear of man will make us remain in darkness and keep the doors locked. Paul pleaded to pray that he may be delivered from wicked and evil-minded people (2 Thes. 3:2).Wicked and evil-minded people are tormenting us in this world. a) People who destroy our chastity

Amnon, the son of King David, seduced his sister and then he threw her out of his house. She cried out alone and was placed in a pathetic condition. After that incident, she became lonely as she locked herself in her house for the rest of her life. Perhaps, someone destroyed your life too. Wicked people would have played a game on you, and your door of life is seemingly locked. You feel trapped. That wound might torment you but God will deliver you by opening that door for you. b) People who enslave us Wicked Pharaoh kept the people of Israelites in bondage to work as slaves. He didn’t give good wages. He didn’t treat them properly, and they were in agony (Exodus 14:13). Finally, through the hands of Moses, God did miracles and delivered them. They thought, “we got freedom; we are going to our land; our children can work in peace.” However, as they were going, unexpectedly King Pharaoh followed them with multitudes of his armies to bring them back as slaves. www.jesuscalls.org - August 2018 JESUS CALLS

You might be going through a similar suffering. People might have given you a job but are not paying you the right wages according to the demands of your career, and because of that, you are worried. Some people may run a business, but not able to save money. When you listen to the harsh words of corrupt superiors whose words pierce your heart, you may think that the doors are closed, and you may be desperate enough to say, “There is no future for my family and me”, but God will open a new door for you.

The God, who opened the Red Sea, will destroy the wicked people who are coming against you and take you to the land of milk and honey. Jesus will do this.

He will give you a job, give you profits in your business, give you honor in your career and will make you prosperous.

Are you worried about your child and say, “My child is not studying well and the teacher is impatient with my child; what can I do? Will I lose my child?” God will open a new door for your child. Believe in Him.

Debt that shuts the Door “In anger, his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.”

(Matthew 18:34) Due to debt problems, you may be locked with fear inside the house. People who gave loans 8

might chase you. An additional interest would be more than you can bear. Fearing the debtors, you may be running away from them.

In the ministry of Seesha, we were interacting with a little girl. Her family was living in a hut. She said, “Uncle, fear would grip me every day when dusk sets in. My parents have borrowed money, and the lenders come to collect the interest. On seeing them, my parents

They instruct me to inform the lenders that they are not home. I will be lonely at home in fear. The lenders would threaten me. I cry every day wanting this problem to come to an end.

There is no protection for this little girl, neither from her parents nor from society. This young girl lives in fear and shame. Today, you may also shudder with fear like that young girl, because of such wicked and evil people.

Debts could have closed the door.

Also, because you proclaimed

the word of God, the doors would have been closed. “Because the disciples proclaimed the word, they were put in prison” (Acts 5:21,23). The disciple Peter was put in prison because he proclaimed about Jesus (Acts 12:4).

The king planned to kill him. However, God had mercy on him and sent his angel. He opened the doors of prison and brought him out. God will send the same angel.

He will protect you (Exodus 23:20). You will be delivered from the hands of the evil people.

God says, “I am the door for you. In the midst of evil and wicked people, I will give you my grace and lift you up. I will give you wisdom; I will give you holiness, I will break the schemes of evil people that they cannot touch you. I will provide you with a job by myself, and I will lift you up. I will deliver you from debt. When you share the Word about me, I will send my angels to protect you.”

Lord Jesus delivered Sis. Mary Christinal from the bondage of debt. Let us read her testimony and be encouraged: My name is Mary Christinal, and we are residing in Coimbatore. We are blessed with two children; a boy and a girl. My husband who was working in a tea estate was affected by wheezing problem and could not continue his job.

Due to this, there was no income in our family. I was struggling to maintain the ex-

penses of two children at home. Because of scarcity of food, I developed an ulcer problem and lived with much weakness. I could not do any work at home. In this situation in 2004, I attended the Jesus Calls meeting with no strength in my body. During prayer time, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran said, “All your weaknesses are disappearing in the name of Jesus.” At that very moment, the power of the Holy Spirit came upon me, and I was just thrown off. I saw Jesus by my side, and all my weaknesses were gone. Immediately, I gave my testimony. At that time, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran laid his hand upon me and prayed, “Thank you Lord for removing all problems, worries, and burdens at home. You will help her to live in peace without any financial struggle. Thank you Jesus; go along with her and honor her." After the meeting was over, with the little money I had, I enrolled both my children in the Young Partners Plan. After that, God moved my family's hearts, and both my mother and sister took care of my daughter’s need towards school education. In 2010, I became a Jesus Calls Ambassador, and I started to enroll many Jesus Calls Partners.

Due to this, my daughter’s college education fees were entirely taken care of by my employer. I was filled with joy. My

daughter completed her studies and worked in Kerala. She was promoted at her workplace and is working as a professor in a medical college in USA. My son is studying in Karunya University. Just as Dr. Paul Dhinakaran prophesied, God has lifted my family. Glory to God!

am shutting the door so that you cannot go out. (Psalm 88:8; Isaiah 24:10)

Door closed by God

A woman’s son died. The prophet Elijah took him to his room, and he closed the door and prayed lying upon the child. God’s life came upon the child, and he came back to life (2 Kings 4:35).

Inside your house, when you close the doors for unwanted talks and instead, pray for your children and your family, you will see the resurrection in their lives.

“These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David.

What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”

(Revelation 3:7) “Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until His wrath has passed by.”

(Isaiah 26:20) God says not to stand in places of anger found in the world but to go inside the room and lock yourself until it passes from you.

God locked up Noah along with his family of eight members and all the flying birds, animals and all male and female creatures inside the ark, to protect them from the floods. Here we see that God shuts the door of the ark to protect them. No one could enter the ark, and the rest were destroyed in flood. However, the chosen lot were protected. God is giving you the same kind of protection. He will close the doors around you to protect you. God is saying, “I

“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:6)

My wife used to fast and pray whenever my children write an examination. She fasts and pray for our children once a month. When she prays, the Spirit of God will come upon me. God will give prophetic words to me about the grand plan concerning my children.

On one hand it’s prayer and on the other hand, it’s prophecy.

This blessing of God comes upon the children. When the husband prays, the wife will prophesy. To experience this grace, the Spirit of Christ will come upon you. The 18th Convocation of Karunya Deemed University was held on 30th June 2018 at 2.00 pm at Dr. D.G.S Dhinakaran Centre, Karunya. This year, a total of 1873 students graduated; 44 Ph.D., 10 M.Phil, 391 PG, and 1428 UG students were awarded degrees. Two students were awarded the Chancellor’s Award for Best Outgoing UG & PG student. 112 Rank Holders were honored with cash awards and certificates.

Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, Chancellor of KITS, presided over the ceremony and in his Address advised the graduates to pursue what came to them faithfully, to be focused and never discouraged and to trust God seeking His will for their life. He then personally awarded degrees to all 1600+ students. Mrs. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran invoked the blessings of the divine on the graduates. Dr. Anil Bhardwaj, Director, Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, Department of Space, Government of India was the Chief Guest and delivered the Convocation Address encouraging the graduates to persevere in the midst of challenges and excel in their career. Parents and relatives of the graduates participated and graced the occasion. The 10

Convocation Ceremony was successfully organized by Dr. Mannar Jawahar, the Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Ridling Margaret Waller, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Dr. R. Elijah Blessing, Registrar and Dr. A. Hepzibah Christinal, Controller of Examinations.

The students who graduated sowed their first seed by donating generously towards the purchase of

assistive devices for the needy. The assistive devices (threewheeled scooters and cycles) were distributed to the less privileged people through Seesha at the end of the Convocation Ceremony.

The Convocation ended with the National Anthem.

Prayer Tower ministry bringing healing and comfort “I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they

will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest…”

(Isaiah 62:6) The ‘Jesus Calls’ ministries began with the sole purpose to pray for people who need prayers at any time of the day, so they can be comforted through God’s word. People can request prayers in the presence of the Lord and receive miracles, healing, and blessings from Him. For those who visit the Prayer Tower, the exclusively trained prayer intercessors give counseling based only on the scriptures and strengthen their faith to receive their miracles from God. They pray along with them for their needs and prayer requests to plead at the feet of the Lord.

The Prayer Tower ministry was started on 12 August 1983. There are 106 ‘Jesus Calls’ Prayer Towers functioning in India today.

Prayer service is offered in 8 languages to those who call for prayers. We can only praise the works of the Lord through this Prayer Tower ministry.

For the convenience of the people who visit the Prayer Tower and for many to receive blessings from the Lord uninterruptedly, we are constructing a new building at the Bengaluru Prayer Tower. The building is at the final stages of construction. We are renovating the Prayer Tower in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. We are also planning to construct a new building for the

Prayer Tower in Secunderabad and Trivandrum.

According to the Lord’s guidance, we are preparing to start the prayer services in Coonoor, Madurai Athikulam, in Tamil Nadu; Virar, Mumbai in Maharashtra; Karimnagar in Telangana, and in Odissa at Rourkela and Koraput.

Dear Bro. Paul Dhinakaran, My name is Hema Joe, and I reside at Ambattur, Chennai. My mother Philomena Joe had diabetes for 10 years. During the month of August 2017, my mother’s sugar levels alarmingly rose to 360 mg/dl. Since her sugar levels could not be brought down in spite of administering a strong dosage of medicines, the doctors advised an insulin regimen. My mother also has hypothyroidism and therefore felt very weak. In this condition, she merely refused to take any more medicines.

At this juncture, she came across the portion ‘Prayer for the healing of Diabetes’ from the November 2017 edition of the ‘Jesus Calls’ Magazine. With much faith, she prayed this prayer several times a day, and by the time she concluded her prayer one day, her blood sugar levels became normal. Miraculously, she was also healed from the condition of hypothyroidism. With a happy heart, I took photocopies of this prayer and distributed them among all my family members and all of them confided in me that their sugar levels were also getting back to normal. I offer praises to the Lord who did this miracle and also thank Bro. Paul Dhinakaran who published this prayer. In 2009, my son Immanuel who was two years old had blood cancer. He had a swollen stomach; his haemoglobin level was only 4 g/dl, and the white blood cells count was around 1.5 Lakhs. We were shocked to hear this from the doctors. My husband is an auto driver, and with our income, we could not afford the treatment. We had no saved-up money either. My husband did not know Jesus and in this state, my little faith was also shaken. After admitting him to the hospital at Madurai, my aunt took my reluctant husband to the Prayer Tower at Madurai for prayer.

My husband came back from the Prayer Tower after having my son enrolled in the Young Partners Plan and brought the blessed oil. We started to apply it on him every day. We also wrote letters to Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and received comforting responses. The treatment went on for five years. God did a miracle by providing the treatment free of cost and completely healed him. In 2014, when we went for a review, the same doctor certified that there is no trace of cancer and that he needed no further treatment. How much we rejoiced!

We are deeply grateful to our Lord for this remarkable miracle in our lives. Now, Immanuel is 11 years and he is studying in 3rd Std. He is doing well in his studies and is very healthy. Once, my wife and I went to another country for ministry. In a particular city, a lawyer who was touched by the message I gave, asked me, ‘Sir, what are you planning to do next? I mentioned the name of another city and replied, “I am going to preach there.” When I

(2 Corinthians 13:3), “I bear on my body the marks of Jesus” (Galatians 6:17). How challenging is this life! Even the aim of our spiritual life should be like that.

As a young man after seeing a heavenly vision, Daniel says, “and I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for some days…but I was appalled by the vision… and no strength was left in me. My radiant appearance was fearfully changed...I retain no strength” (Daniel 8:27; 10:8, 16). If you want to see heavenly visions, speak with authority, and the anointing of the Holy Spirit would overflow in you.

Only then the Lord shall take your spirit to the third heaven.

He will increase your reward “…I am looking for what may be credited to your account”. (Philippians 4:17) When Paul writes to the Philippians, he says, “Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles...you sent me aid…when I was in need… therefore I love you. I pray that my God shall meet all your needs. When I set out from Macedonia… for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. God will not forget that.

Therefore, He will bless you wholeheartedly. The number of souls you bring to Christ on this earth will be credited to your account in heaven (Philippians 4:14-17).

took up the full expenditure of that meeting. They even sold their jewels to meet the expenses of the meeting. Once the meeting got over, I asked them, “Why did you sell your jewels? You should not have done it”. They replied, “Through this meeting, we have brought thousands of souls into the Lord. Every soul is precious.

Therefore, every soul brought to the Lord in this meeting will be credited to our account in heaven, and it will keep on increasing.”

Similarly, Apostle Paul says to the Philippians who helped him, “I eagerly seek that your reward may increase.”

He will meet your needs “For I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God”.

(Philippians 4:18) Paul says that every offering given to the Lord’s servant is like a burnt offering. We read that when Noah sacrificed burnt offerings, “The Lord smelt the pleasing aroma” (Genesis 8:21). Similarly, the offering you give to the Lord is a pleasing sacrifice to him; He smells it as a pleasant aroma; He blesses you abundantly by turning your shortcomings to success.

During the initial days, when the girls and boys hostel had to be built at Karunya Engineering

College, we needed an amount of Rupees 2 crores. A big institution came forward to give a loan on one condition. They said, “we need to see the construction materials worth 20 lakh rupees when we come to see the site”. I shared this with one of my friends. He told me, “Brother, you pray; I will look after the rest.” The next morning, he went to an iron shop and asked for a quantity of iron. The shopkeeper asked who needed the iron.

When he replied, “It’s for brother Dhinakaran,” the shopkeeper said, “If you are asking for brother Dhinakaran, take how much ever you want; you can give the money whenever you can.” When he went to a cement shop and asked for a quantity of cement, that shopkeeper also asked, “who needs the cement?” When he stated it is for brother Dhinakaran, he said, "take how much ever you want; don’t worry about the money.”

The next day, when the officials of the institution came to observe Karunya Engineering College, they were surprised to see 20 lakh rupees worth of construction material there.

The Lord who met the needs of the Israelites and led them miraculously, will meet your needs in the same way and guide you miraculously.

He will give through Jesus Christ “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that

though He was rich, yet for your sakes, he became poor so that you through His poverty might become rich.”

(2 Corinthians 8:9)

Then our help shall come from the Lord. That’s why Paul says, “my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).

Even though Jesus was rich in heaven, for our sake He became poor. The only reason was that we could become rich through Him! When our gracious Lord Jesus was hanging on the cross as a poor man, he who was forsaken by all, all alone, when He died, even His loved ones were standing away from Him (Luke 23:49). There was no one near Him to console Him. All our burdens and sickness were cast on Him! “Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush Him and cause Him to suffer” (Isaiah 53:10). Therefore, He will easily understand our sickness, pain, poverty, loneliness and its pain. He will intercede for us to His Father (Hebrews 7:25).

Once I was admitted to a hospital due to my sickness. Many nurses attended to me. They would work for one week; take leave for two days. However, one nurse did not even take a day off and attended to me. I asked her, “Everyone has taken leave and are at home, why don’t you take leave?” She replied, “Sir, last year my father was sick in bed.

For several months, I took care of my father. He passed away suddenly, and his death broke my heart. I was longing for my father’s love. When you were admitted to this room and when my higher official asked me to take care of you, I was

delighted. When I look at you, I am reminded of my father.

When I serve you, I feel that I am taking care of my father.

That’s why I did not even take a day's leave and am taking care of you.” On hearing her emotional reply, her genuine compassion melted my heart.

My beloved brothers and sisters, even our Lord is like that. He clearly understands us. He knows what we lack. Are you in need of a job? Do you have financial problems? Are you in sickness? Do you have no children? Are you not yet married? Do not worry. Cry out to the Lord. He will listen to your cry; He will look at your tears and will be compassionate; He will intercede for you to His Father. He will surely help you. He will meet all your needs. He will overcome all your shortcomings! He will make you overjoyed.

Deliverance when God Calls

The Lord calls us by Name My father was working as a driver. In the year 2005, he died unexpectedly.

My mom had to shoulder the responsibility of taking care of three daughters and a son. There was also a pending court case which made us all the more distressed. All our relatives were speaking among themselves that, “These girls will never get married.”

We were regularly watching the ‘Jesus Calls’ TV program. This program not only consoled us but also strengthened our faith. To our amazement, the Lord brought commendable life partners to my elder sisters, and their weddings were hosted wonderfully.

However, my marriage was delayed. I was worried and cried with great sorrow unto the Lord, as I was not even engaged at the age of 26.

On 17th January 2007, I was watching a ‘Jesus Calls’ TV program. During the prayer time, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran called my name and prophesied, “Sharlin, the Lord is going to bless you. He will give you a wonderful life partner and will build your life”. At once, on hearing this, I jumped with joy. Within ten days, my marriage was fixed and on 10th May 2007, my wedding was held remarkably.

I am currently relieved from my service in the Army. I was a slave to a lot of bad habits. I have three daughters.

In 2008, my wife passed away. I could not bear her death and started to drink a lot. Due to this in 2009, my body was affected and found that I had three blocks in my heart and went through bypass surgery. After some days I was paralyzed on my right side. I could not do any work. I was distressed because I was sick when I had to prepare for my daughters’ marriages. In the midst of the pain in my shoulders and hands, with great expectation, I attended the ‘Jesus Calls’ Prayer Festival in 2010 February, in Guntur. During the prayer time, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran called, “Prabhakar Rao, where are you? Run and come to the stage immediately. You have a problem in your shoulders and hands. You may think that there are many Prabhakar Rao’s in this meeting. However, Prabhakar Rao who has a problem in your shoulders, the Lord is touching you. He is pouring His Holy Spirit on you”. On hearing it, I was surprised. I went to the stage and testified. Then Dr. Paul Dhinakaran prayed for me. At once all the pain in my body vanished. At that moment, I was delivered from all bad habits and my slavery to sin.

I went to the Guntur ‘Jesus Calls’ Prayer Tower and prayed along with the prayer intercessors. I also sponsored one of the ‘Jesus Calls’ TV programs. In 2010, 2012 and 2015, my three daughters’ marriages were held wonderfully. God has blessed them, and I praise the Lord with all my heart for giving me salvation, healing and blessing my family irrespective of who I was!

The Lord Grants Prosperity When Sis. Sudha started attending Esther Prayer Group (EPG) she was deep in poverty and could not even have proper food. But she continued to attend the EPG prayer and now the Lord is providing her food three times a day! She was also in need of clothing as she had only a couple of saris. Help reached Sis. Sudha as sisters of the EPG gave saris to poor women and she too got one.

Indeed the Lord is blessing her abundantly. Her children were lagging behind in their studies. All of us in the EPG prayed with burden for them to do well in their studies and the Lord heard our prayers and made them come first in their classes. The Lord is graciously helping Sis Sudha to do ministry.

The Lord’s Living Word Sis. Latha of our group and her husband suffered a lot from illnesses. The Lord Answers Prayers 1.Sister Sundari of our group had to sell their house and other belongings because of debt problem and they were left with practically nothing. Within a few weeks of attending the Esther Prayer Group and praying for her needs, the Lord helped her to redeem the house!

Good Work Pleasing to the Lord One day when I was going to a shop, I happened to meet a child by name Vishnu Priya. I casually asked her which class she was studying and she said, “I don’t go to school”. When I asked her the reason, she said that she gets fits.

The next day I went to her house and met her mother who lamented to me saying, “I don’t know why I am living, my son has completed 10th but refuses to go to school for the past 4 years. Fire Anointing The Esther Prayer Group thanksgiving meeting held in Chennai on 2nd December was of great blessing to all of us. During the prayer time, I was filled with fire anointing. I was filled with fire just as how I was filled 26 years back.

Another sister is in a place called Ammapatty. I told her about the Esther Prayer Group and gave her the prayer points and asked her to try praying for those points.

She was amazed to see the Bible verses given for each prayer point and prayed on the basis of those verses. As a result, many who had not known Jesus have come to Him. Since there is Life in the promise verse, many miracles began to happen in their lives.

Yes! What is needed for this honorable ministry is prayer, commitment and action. All these three things should be there in the life of the leaders.

Wherever we go, we go only as a team. I always keep the Esther Prayer Group prayer points with me. We never fail to tell about the Esther Prayer Group to others. If they have the desire to pray, we would give them the prayer points and encourage them to start the prayer. Soon it would become a prayer group.

Every month, we get a report from one of the members of the prayer group to let us know how the Lord is using them to do the ministry.

One of the prayer group leaders, Sister Mary Mano got discouraged and stopped, but the Lord enabled me to encourage her and now she is doing excellently well. Distance is never a hurdle because the Lord is in control. By God’s grace I was able to encourage a widowed sister to conduct an Esther Prayer Group and she

I am doing ministry among chil-

dren. As there are many children with us I have divided them into five groups forming Junior Esther Prayer Groups.

These children praise the Lord nicely irrespective of caste, creed and religion. It is amazing to hear them testify that their fathers have stopped their drinking habits or that their parents had stopped fighting with each other. The children speak fluently in their respective languages. The Lord is also doing mighty deeds among the youth.

Two sisters have undertaken to revive groups that were stopped for various reasons. Since the burden to do something for the Lord has been poured in our hearts, we are doing that with enthusiasm.

Some people in a village called Vadakarai are prepared to start the Esther Prayer Group. Similarly, the inmates from a school for the hearing impaired called ‘Arumai Illam’ are willing to start a group. May the Lord help us to do something for Him for the glory of His name and to be seen in His coming!

My Dear sisters, If the Spirit of the Lord prompts you or young girls/children to start an Esther Prayer Group or Youth Esther Prayer Group or Junior Esther Prayer Group or Couples Esther Prayer Group in your area or in your home or hostel or in any place convenient to you, so that the women/young girls/ children/couples in your area could be blessed, and revived, please come forward. Miraculous deliverance from Alcoholism My husband was addicted to drinking and was a slave to alcoholism for 20 years. Hence there was no peace in the family. We have a son and could not even pay his school fees since all my husband’s earnings were spent on buying drinks. The family was run by my income. Therefore, we faced poverty. My relatives shunned me out of fear that I would ask them for money and become a burden to them. On the one hand, I had no money to pay for my son’s education; on the other hand, my husband was addicted to alcohol. Every day I used to shed tears at my work spot. A colleague, who knew my problem, assured me that she would show me a way out and asked me not to worry. She took me to the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower. Since I had no money, she enrolled my son in the Young Partner’s Plan. After that, we entered a prayer room and prayed. I experienced a divine peace which I have not felt before. Since then I started going to the Prayer Tower to pray.

Moreover, I began to watch

the Jesus Calls TV programme. Whenever Sis. Stella Dhinakaran prayed for the deliverance of alcoholism, I used to pray along with her in tears. The Lord, who heard the prayer, started blessing our family. First, He sent monetary help through a friend for my son’s higher studies and helped him to complete his Aeronautical Engineering successfully. My husband got miraculous deliverance from alcoholism and started living as God’s child.

Tumour Vanished My daughter is studying in the 10th standard. My daughter and I are living alone. I am working in a company in Chennai, and I take care of my daughter solely. Suddenly I developed a tumor in my throat because of which I could not eat properly and suffered because of tremendous discomfort.

Even if I managed to eat something, my stomach would bloat. I could not even drink water properly. Hence, I could not go to work regularly. I was also anxious

about my daughter as she depended on me. The doctors tested me and gave me some medicines. I spent a lot on medications, but there was no relief.

At this juncture, I was watching the Jesus Calls Television programme one day. Sis. Stella Dhinakaran shared God’s message and prayed earnestly for the sick. I pleaded with the Lord earnestly while she prayed, “Let the thyroid problem be gone in the name of Jesus.” That prayer was meant for me. When she said those words, the power of the Lord came down on the tumour.

What a wonder! That tumour vanished completely. When I went to the hospital for a check-up, they tested me and declared that everything was normal. From that day I am in perfect health. Now I can eat well and do my work properly. Many thanks to the Lord who did the miracle.

Is it possible to have such divine blessing in the midst of trials, tribulations and pain – you may wonder. However the Lord firmly tells us, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." (John 16:33).

us up amidst our afflictions, helps us pass through them, grants us deliverance and gives us joy. About this we read in II Chronicles 16:9, "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…” What comforting words! We know that the Lord is able to deliver us from all problems. But, what should we do for this? We should be diligent to live close with the Lord and know Him with a loyal heart. Half baked godliness would not pave ways for you to enjoy divine peace. Or depending on either the wife’s or the husband’s godliness will certainly not give you the victorious life.

Some couples come to me for prayers saying, “We do not have a child, hence there is no peace in the family; Please pray for us”. I ask them

separately, “How much are you seeking the Lord?”

Some husbands would say, “I don’t believe much in this. I don’t have the time also. After coming from work, I eat well and go to sleep. But my wife would pray without fail”.

Many wives too do not seek the Lord with reverence but spend their time in pleasures. So, my dear couples, only when you jointly seek the Lord reverentially, with oneness of mind, God’s abundant blessing and peace will come into your family and the presence of God will fill your heart and your home.

The Lord in the Daily Life How to seek the Lord with faith in our daily life and receive abundant blessings? Or what must we do to get deliverance from the problems? Let us meditate: We read in the Bible, “And this is the victory that

has overcome the world; our faith” (I John 5:4).

The only way for an individual or a couple to receive this faith is by diligently reading the Bible and by talking and praying to the Lord.

‘So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God’ (Romans 10:17).

“But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper” (Psalm 1:2,3).

Read the above mentioned verses carefully! Do not delude yourself by praying for just five minutes and telling that you have prayed. About the Scriptures, we read in the Bible that they ‘are spirit, and they are life’ (John 6:63) and that they are ‘living and powerful’ (Hebrews 4:12). Hence, in order that God’s life and power should flow into you in the midst of your problems and in order that the works of the Holy Spirit are done in you, it is highly essential that you read the Bible.

My dear sisters, read this promise again and again and follow it strictly. The Lord would speak to you through the Scripture verses which would comfort and encourage you even in the state where you do not have peace. Please do not read the Scriptures just for a few minutes

and as a duty. Make sure you get up early in the morning every day and interact with the Lord in reverence. Search the Scriptures; for in them you will have eternal life (John 5:39). Hence increase your Bible reading from today. Memorize the promises given there.

Claim them for yourself and pray with faith. Then the Lord would strengthen you, embolden you and change all your matters into blessings.

As the knowledge of the Lord keeps increasing in us, He would give us the grace to live closer with Him, and to know more about Him and through that enjoy a victorious life even amidst the troubles in the world.

God Given Strength during weariness “In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul” (Psalm 138:3) When the Lord Jesus was in this world, He spoke to His people in parables. We become weary when we face afflictions, tribulations, worries of the world and deceitfulness of riches. Various kinds of needs in life make us weary. Particularly we the women

become easily dejected. However the Bible says, “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.”

(Isaiah 40:29) What does the Lord do when we look up to Him and humble ourselves in His presence? He gives power to the weak and increases strength. Today we see many people receiving miracles from the Lord; we hear about it.

It is the Lord’s love which gives them such miracles! Sometimes the people who visit the Prayer Tower come with dejection because of various needs or distresses in their lives.

Once, a sister visited the Prayer Tower to seek prayers for her husband who was in the hospital and was nearing death. She cried and said, ‘The doctors have declared that my husband would die. Please pray for him. I need him.” One of the prayer intercessors prayed with tears and with much faith and sent her back assuring her, “Sister, don’t worry about anything. Your husband will live”. That sister believed those words and went back to the hospital with the hope that the Lord would surely help her. When she went there, her husband was sitting up and asking for her.

When he saw her, he told her that he was hungry and asked her to get some food for him.

Strengthened by the miracle that the Lord had done, she praised God and started serving her husband. She shared her testimony and glorified God. Those of my dear sisters who are feeling dejected right now - the Lord will do a miracle for you today! Place your entire trust and faith in the Lord, curse the mountain-like problem in the name of Jesus and get delivered.

Truth Shall Set You Free Christian life is being filled with the knowledge of God and His truth. ‘And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32). Therefore, you should diligently read the Bible

and get filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s truth. It is not right to read the Bible for name-sake.

Make a decision today. When you read the Bible, you should pass on to the next verse only after embedding in your heart the verse you just read. Don’t be content with just reading the Bible for the sake of reading. We should read it earnestly just as how our children study their lessons. As the truth keeps descending into us, the Lord would give us deliverance from our problems. As the knowledge of the Lord keeps increasing in us, He would give us the grace to live closer with Him, and to know more about Him and through that enjoy a victorious life even amidst the troubles in the world.

Finally, as a counsel, I would like to quote a passage for you from the Bible. Read it, follow it and draw closer to the Lord Jesus Christ with all your mind and heart so that you can live happily and peacefully without any worry, in the midst of your problems.

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”

(Ephesians 6:17,18) Then the Lord Jesus, the Morning Star would arise in your heart. He will make your light shine as a light that shines in a dark place (II Peter 1:19)!

band or wife agonize as the spouse forsakes them. When the first child is born, the wife goes to her mother’s place and she delays to return to the husband’s house, citing various reasons. Sometimes, the husbands too forsake their wives and make them miserable by not taking them back. On several tough situations, we feel lonely. No one can ever redeem us from such things. However, look at the Lord’s words: ‘I will be with you as the mighty, awesome One”. He has promised us, ‘Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God…” (Isaiah 41:10). Also,

through the same verse, the Lord tells us, ‘I will strengthen you”. We need to read the Bible diligently for this purpose. It is through the Scriptures that the Lord Jesus Christ speaks to us and comforts and consoles us. Through the Scriptures He guides us. So, you need to realize that without Bible reading you can never receive the counsel and guidance you require for life’s journey. If you read it just for the sake of duty, it would not bring any reward in your life. Perhaps you may have different types of Bible in your home. But, do you have the profound experience of meditating on and searching the verses?

We read in the Bible that in order to know the will of God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, met Him and interacted with Him by rising up early in the morning (Mark 1:35), in the evening (Matthew 14:23) and day and night (Luke 6:12); even when He encountered a hard situation where He had to fulfill God’s will by bearing the cross all alone, He prayed earnestly to God who was able to save Him, as seen in Hebrews 5:7 and Matthew 26:38-44. Thus He set an example for us. In that case, how could the “Lord be always with us as the mighty and awesome One”? There is no other way except by reading the Bible and by praying. Hence, if you want the Lord to stay with you, you should seek Him with a

faithful heart and in reverence.

Then His presence would always surround you and He Himself would go before you and lead you in the path of life.

My dear sisters, as we read in the Bible that the Lord sought His Father early in the morning, you too should rise up early in the morning before daylight and seek Him in all reverence. It’s time to give up on your sleep! We read in Psalm 63:1 that David sought the Lord early in the morning. Also, even though he was a king, he sought His presence in the evening and morning and at noon (Psalm 55:17). He diligently sought God even at night (Psalm 63:6).

"…But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand…” (I Samuel 17:45, 46).

He said, “I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved” (Psalm 16:8).

His eyes were on the Lord, the ‘Hill from where comes our help’ (Psalm 121:1). This is the divine way that we ought to follow. When we observe this in our life with reverence the “Lord would be with us, as the mighty and awesome one”. There came a time in David’s life when he had to face Goliath, the Philistine. Since Goliath was a giant, King Saul, his mighty army men and the people of Israel were greatly terrified. On the other hand, the Philistines were proud of him. Yet, young David did not have any confidence on his own strength but kept his com-

God will be with us only when we truly seek Him, place our whole trust in Him and hold on to Him firmly.

His divine trust was not in vain, David triumphed over the Philistines!

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3).

According to this verse, since he held on to the Lord firmly and trusted Him completely, the Lord gave him perfect peace and also made him defeat that huge giant with a stone. That giant fell on that same spot where he stood. David ran to him, took his sword and

killed him with that. Thus he helped the Israelites to prevail.

Dear ones! Don’t read this as a story but listen to this carefully, realize the truth in it. When would the Lord be with us? He will be with us only when we truly seek Him, place our whole trust in Him and hold on to Him firmly.

My dear sisters, stop shedding tears when you face any trivial suffering in your life or when someone uses harsh words against you. Go to your room, kneel down and speak to the Lord. Tell Him about all your matters, frankly. Not stopping with that, start thanking Him, with hope and faith, ‘The Lord will take care; He will fight for me’. Then you would see miracles. Sometimes when a minor problem crops up, we tend to magnify it, shed tears and make it into a big issue. My dear sisters, like David, hold on to the Lord firmly and receive His strength, miraculous deliverance and victory.

How to Receive This Divine Strength?

A good example for this is the experience of the disciples. When the Lord Jesus Christ left them and departed to heaven, they felt forlorn and were deeply troubled but they waited in God’s presence with reverence according to the Lord’s word (Acts 1:4) and the promise given by God (Luke 24:45). According to II Corinthians 3:18 their lives were transformed, they became like Jesus and received His image. Then we read in the Bible that the Lord began to do great and mighty things through them.

My dear sisters, it is true what the Bible says about women – that they are ‘weak vessels’ (I Peter 3:7). However, when the Holy Spirit fills any weak woman, the Lord gives her His strength to get strengthened in the spirit and soul,

“The LORD will give strength to His people…”

(Psalm 29:11).

“And made me bold with strength in my soul” (Psalm 138:3) Believe in the Lord God and have the faith that when the Lord is with us as the mighty and awesome One, He Himself will give us all the grace and gifts in order

that we should arise and shine for Him. Desire for this and seek His presence. Then “the Lord will be always with you as the mighty and awesome One” and do awesome deeds through you. In the Bible we see the ‘Mighty’ Lord filling a woman called Deborah (Judges 4:4, 5) and using her like a man (Judges 5:7). If you too seek Him with all your heart and live with reverential godliness for Him, He would make you also to rise and shine for the glory of His name.

Not a month has passed since Julie Teacher got retired, she began to feel bored. Her husband, after retirement kept himself occupied by going to the shop, post office, bank, etc., Besides he took to gardening and spent the rest of his time in reading books. However, Julie teacher’s world was only her school and nothing else. Ever since she began her career as a teacher, she took the support of maids who did the cooking and other household chores.

She had no interest in reading books or watching TV. All her neighbors were working women, and so she had no company too.

The church was also quite far, and hence she found it very difficult to spend her time there.

“Better stop the cook and spend your time in cooking...” Her husband Edward suggested.

As a young man at heart, he took a cap and coolers, wore them and left. Heaving a big sigh, Julie teacher sat down wearily. She was afraid to stay alone at home and wondered if she had become useless and a burden to others.

In the evening, she got a call from her daughter-in-law who was in the USA - “Aunty, everyone here appreciates your poem which you sent to me...” Julie teacher poured out her anxieties and worries to her.

Julie teacher was impressed by her daughter-in-law’s suggestion.

Immediately, she started to write and finished composing the poems.

Soon after that, she began to write about the Lord for tracts. Her husband made the prints and gave it to the church for tract ministry.

Her son-in-law undertook the payment for printing and Julie teacher was thrilled. Since she was fully occupied in reading the Bible and writing articles, she cut short her phone calls much to the surprise of her husband who said, “Oh, you never used to put down the phone that easily....”

“Today your son and I were talking about you... We feel it would be good if you compile your poems into a book. If you could write three more poems, we would have 30, and then we could go ahead and publish it....”

Julie teacher now experienced joy by working for the Lord. She never could experience the fullness of joy when working for her and her family. It was her tracts that could be seen in the hands of the people at the hospital and the beach. The tracts brought changes in many people’s lives. Julie teacher did not forget to thank the Lord for her happiness.
