My design project is loacated on the actual location of her residence which is located in the centre of important business district of Bangkok and not so far from the U.S. Embassy.
As you can see from the plan, each space of the house is placed in the way not to disrupt other spaces if not necessary. Public and private spaces are obviously seperated.
Position, size and fragmentation of the entrance, view into the space and size of spaces are designed according to activities that each space will be using for.

I have conducted a research on social and financial agreement of the statement ‘Yes, I do’. Therefore, this phase I decided to reveal the complexity of dating community and how the “blindness” of online dating affects the image and identity of dating scene. Love, desire, sex; humans are hard wired to find their perfect partner. But in real life where it’s difficult to find the time for romance, more people staying single for longer. Online dating fullfils the need for time efficient ‘ click on off ’ relationships. Rather than waiting anxiously by the telephone, or for the early morning post, the computer becomes the focus of our emotional anxieties reality.

Temporary Construction Shelter
The construction company is not making provision of any electricity of sanitation facility to the construction laborers. The sanitation hygiene of the construction site and the laborer’s house found poor condition. Majority sites do not have any toilets, or if they do, most are under substandard quality. There is limited provision of drinking water and the laborers have to depend on bore well, tanker lorry water and public water supply. The construction company is not making provision of water facility for washing cloths and cleaning their utensils. Some of the construction companies don’t even supply water for washing at all. Most of the construction sites don’t have any bathroom facility.Laborers have to depend on open bath, from where water is available. The construction workers need proper hyginic shelter where they are secured under rain and beneath the heat from the sun. This temporary dwelling should, as well, provides a certain level of privacy and comfortable at the same time.
I tried to use triangulated pattern as walls that not only define space but also provide other function such as, shading and air circulaton. Difference of overlaped triangulated pattern give different light quality that can be arranged to fit the activities inside the space.
Triangulated beam uses the same pattern as the column to be smoothly attach to the column, material of the beams ( flexiglass) allows light to pass through but also hold up the structure by steel frame that is strong enough to set the wall and column in place

Modernization and industrialization has paved a good way to the construction industry. Small towns and cities become more urbanized and, the construction sector too has got a boost. Irrespective of occasional slumps in the economy or in construction works, the sector
is going through a faster growth. Apart from old / traditional urban/ industrial centers, new industrial/urban centers have appeared on the map where construction works are going on large scale. Expanding and fast growing construction sector and, in general,

ACTIVATING THE VOID TheNegotiation of the two : Local & Urban
page 28
Considering the local and the urban scale relations of the site, the project regains the “ voidness of the site to transform the site into a public area Apeople in the local can come a gathering around and also maintain the main logistics and transportation along historical and industrial area of Chao Phraya River. The shape of the building and the structure convay a historical layer of the market and that piece of land and also about life along the Chao Phraya River of Thai people but at the same time to take advantage of the potential of the existing storage and service area that serves sufficiently for the local scale for kiosks.
Strategy of the Void
Rat Burana Berth and Watercraft Design
page 29
The site of Wat Rat Burana is located as a bor derline between the urban and suburban area of Bangkok City, the site itself serves as a portal for goods such as rice, flour, fishes, sand from other provinces and also from local indus trial factory around Rat burana area .
This make the site itself has the potential to construct a civic project that would keeps culture and products from different provinces of Thailand. Preserving the culture of Thai that is fading away.
Local issue and site potential
Goods Circulation hubs Another advantage of Wat Rat Burana site is that, the loca tion itself is surrounded with warehouses, temple, mainroad, bank and expressway. This make site convenience for Thais and tourists to access the area.

The massive structure with its two programmatic slabs brings a huge change to the site as it is made to be adaptable for varying, dynamic conditions of the city; and responds to these shifts by numerous space inhabited within these slabs. By the negotiation and conversation of the two.
The void becomes the flexible scenery of the city. Its belonging dissolves between the local and the urban. Goods from factories and warehouses around the area arrive at the terminal beneath the building, where they have access to the building by either gantry crane where they can load and unload goods

from the boat or load up from trucks parking next to the berth by using the tower crane located in the middle of the building. The stacks are arranged on large floors with no steps which makes the distribution of the goods easy.

Modernization and industrialization has paved a good way to the construction industry. Cities become denser and become more urbanized and, the construction sector too has got a boost. From the architecture nowadays, to build up a new building in the middle of the city, they need to blow down the old building to build up new building without concerning about the history of the existing building or the surrounding context. So in my opinion, I think the new building should be concern more about the context and historical idea of each site.
Forgotten Spaces New World Boxing Stadium
New world mall has been abandoned since 2004 because the collapse of the roof structure, which causes many people to die in this accident. New world mall has very unique history and because it’s implanted behind shop houses of religious and touristic area of Bangkok. It was built in 1982; in that time, New World mall was very famous because of glass elevator in the front façade and it was the landmark for gathering in that time. 15 years later the Supreme Court of Thailand, who ordered its demolition following an illegal extension, closes it. But the demolition was not completed. The rain turned the ground floor of the mall into a pond that attracted lot of mosquitoes: a big problem for people living near. Thai locals introduced Koi fishes in the water to keep the mosquitos away. So, it’s liked a contrast between abandoned malls with a fishpond inside that bring many tourists to come to the mall. But after fishpond inside becomes tourist attraction, the government officer closed it permanently because they aware of the safety of visitors.
page 39
However, the structure of existing building is still in good condition apart from electrical facilities inside that is ruined by the rain through the escalators hall from the collapse of roof structure. Foundation and basic structure of the building need to be restoring for safety purpose. New roof can be foldable depends on the programs inside. 3 entrances of the building can serve different purposes of the same program.
Anyways, the plan that they had been trying to reach 11 stories with ignoring Supreme Court order is a historical idea that might be interesting in term of legal and illegal contrast which can connect to illegal business in tourism aspect of Thailand, such as Casino or boxing gambling. So, for the next life of New World mall, because it has been hidden behind the shop houses for over 35 years, It should be exposed and serve as g

athering space and landmark for people around the area once again. The program that will fit inside the old building should not only give visitors a surprising experience from outside to inside space such as small faรงade to big floor area or lighting experience from bright to dark but also maintain the sense of historical idea of the surrounding context. And there must be some additional structure that holds up the building structure.

The aim of the project is to design building systems for architecture that define an interior and an exterior where all structural and infrastructural details are purpose-designed. The result is an architectural interface between two spaces that has certain fixed and variable parameters and that controls a series of spatial effects. There will be absolute freedom with regards to the type of architecture that the system creates and there is no site or program restrictions since the aim is to design a versatile system rather than a singular product: a Tool for Architecture.

The workshop explored social interactions and connections between virtual and physical worlds using the latest software and hardware. The workshop was directed by Fredrik Hellberg, Third year coordinator at INDA, Mond Qu, from Melbourne University and The Founder & director of united make and experience designer Nandi Nobell, from KTH Stockholm. The workshop uses the DK2 from Oculus Rift, the current world leader in Virtual Reality technology as a tool to explore the boundary between virtual and physical space by having people experience a 3D virtual world to develop interactions with the physical world. The workshop started with software and hardware training focusing on the DK2. The user pulls the device over their head and covers the eyes while using the it. The VR device blocks the physical environment from us and provide the user with a Virtual world, shown on two LED screens and through two lenses resulting in a stereoscopic view.

Each group developed and identified a different approach of creating social interactions using the game developer software unity and the DK2. the outcome of the workshop was a social event for people to experience a connection shared by the virtual world and physical world. This project explored the boundaries of collaboration across worlds and platforms in a massive installation, existing both virtually and physically and seen differently by all three players a their perception of the space was filtered through different light spectrum’s.

Bitterman is a Interior and Exterior renovation project started on July 2014 and turned it to be modern rustic dining space where it is built on the same spirit of makers and gatherers for those who want real wholesome home-cooked meals. This project occupies an old house on Saladaeng Road in business district of Bangkok.
page 70
The design concept was to merge the interior spaces to create a single open space, while respecting the original structure of the house and the faรงade, which was left intact.
