Beth Tikvah offers a myriad of cultural, intellectual, social, musical and religious programming throughout the year, but especially during Naples’ busiest months. Its adult education program is ongoing. All Beth Tikvah lectures and events are open to the Greater Naples community, and all are welcome. Both in-person and online formats are offered.
Lecture Series 2021/2022
Beth Tikvah hosts a seasonal lecture series. This year, there are seven lectures, each presented by a different speaker on interesting topics throughout the season as shown below.
Dec. 2, 2021 – Jeff Margolis launches the series with his presentation on The Demise of the Great American Supermarket.
Jan. 14 and 15 – Rabbi Irving Elson addresses Ethical Challenges of Modern Warfare.
Jan. 20 and Feb. 3 – Dr. June Sochen and Joyce Schrager discuss current events. Jan. 30 – Dr. Sandra Lillienthal leads a Day of Learning on “Jewish Life Must be Live.”
Feb. 10 – Neil Adelman gives “Further Consideration of the Rosenbergs.”
Feb. 27 – Joel Poznansky shares memories of his time as a captain in Her Majesty’s Personal Guard.
March 29 – Shelley Goodman delivers the Poznansky Wellness lecture on “Living in the Unpredictable.”
