Understanding senior housing in Southwest Florida

The decision to move to a senior living community is a complicated process. There are many factors to consider, including financial, medical, lifestyle, location and timing. Choosing the right place adds another layer of difficulty since the typical consumer is unaware of many nuances of each of the senior living communities and probably wants to avoid moving to a community with financial, operational and/or staffing issues.

Nicknamed the “Matchmaker” of Senior Housing, I take the mystery out this process through my 30+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of every senior living community in Southwest Florida.

I meet one-on-one with clients to best understand someone’s needs, wants and preferences. I will help narrow down the choices, schedule visits and even join clients for the visit, if desired. I will provide an understanding of the terms of the contract and assist with negotiations, as appropriate.

As a long-time Southwest Florida resident, I have developed key relationships with invaluable resources in the area to help people every step of the way.

Should a move outside of Southwest Florida be necessary, I have developed a network of advisors throughout the country who have ‘boots-on-the-ground’ knowledge of the senior living options in those market areas.
