Naples BBYO is back

By Jessica Zimmerman, Associate Regional Dir., North Florida Region

Shalom Naples families.

We hope you had a safe and wonderful summer and that the holidays were meaningful and reformative.

In the land of Naples BBYO, we are back up and running. BBYO is slowly beginning in-person programming. In September, the Mishpacha BBG Board gathered for its first in-person board meeting at Lowdermilk Beach Park. We had a blast reminiscing and planning for the year ahead, while wearing masks and remaining six feet apart. If you would like additional information about future in-person and virtual events, please connect directly with Jess Zimmerman, our staff in Naples.

In the interim, if you are a Jewish 8thto 12th-grader in the Naples area, we want you to join BBYO and become a part of the Brother and Sisterhood that changes lives and adds Jewish meaning to life in high school and beyond. You can join BBYO Naples by going to bit.ly/memberbbyo. We promise, you will not regret it!

Brand new this year, BBYO is offering Israel vouchers that will reduce the price, by $3,000, to all Israel-related BBYO travel for 2021! That’s right, $3,000 to use towards any Israel-related travel program. Offered to teenagers in grades 9-12, this opportunity is available by application only to BBYO members. To learn more, visit bbyopassport.org.

To contact Jess Zimmerman, Associate Regional Director, North Florida Region, email jesszimmerman@bbyo.org or call or text 941-677-3018.

We hope to see you soon! From your friends at Naples BBYO—stay safe.

P.S. We are actively searching for volunteer chapter advisors in Naples. The position requires about 8 to 10 hours a month and the benefits are far too many to list. If interested, visit https://bbyo.org/get-involved/becomean-advisor.
