1. UNIFY THE GREATER MERCER COUNTY JEWISH COMMUNITY

WE CELEBRATE JEWISH LIFE TOGETHER AS ONE JEWISH COMMUNITY. FAMILIES & INDIVIDUALS We bring together Jews from different affiliations, demographics, and townships to build a stronger Jewish Greater Mercer community. We fund community-wide gatherings and programs that celebrate each family’s and individual’s unique Jewish journey and our shared Jewish history, culture, and tradition. YOUTH & TEENS We support the next generation of Jewish youth leaders, philanthropists, and activists through local and community-wide Jewish experiences. We collaboratively develop and fund youth engagement programs that reinforce Jewish values and connect Jewish teens locally, in Israel and around the world.

WE COLLABORATED WITH LOCAL AGENCIES AND SYNAGOGUES TO CREATE A COMMUNITY-WIDE CHANUKAH CELEBRATION SPANNING 8 NIGHTS AND BRINGING OUR JEWISH COMMUNITY TOGETHER.

2. COMBAT ANTISEMITISM LOCALLY & SECURE OUR COMMUNITY

jewishpmb.org | 9

ANTISEMITISM IS ON THE RISE LOCALLY, ACROSS THE UNITED STATES AND AROUND THE WORLD. We lead efforts to combat antisemitism in Greater Mercer County and foster Jewish pride amongst Jews across our community. This includes providing Jewish youth education and tools to fight antisemitism when encountered in schools or college campuses and openly celebrate pride in their Jewish heritage. We build bridges with our non-Jewish neighbors to create strong bonds and work together to stomp out hate in our community.

THE JEWISH FEDERATION PROUDLY HOSTED A PUBLIC RALLY IN HINDS PLAZA, DOWNTOWN PRINCETON TO STAND UP AGAINST HATE AND CELEBRATE PRIDE IN OUR JEWISH IDENTITY.

TAKING CARE OF ONE ANOTHER IS A CORE JEWISH VALUE AND A COMMUNAL RESPONSIBILITY. We are a source of comfort and care for Jews in need. We support those who are isolated, food insecure, or lack access to programs that celebrate our Jewish tradition. We place a special focus on ensuring that everyone in our community lives in dignity by funding programs that care for and connects Jews in our community, in Israel and overseas.
