Above: Every summer, Jewish Social Services partners with the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging with the Nebraska Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Residents of the Livingston Plaza Apartments will enjoy spending $48 worth of vouchers at area farmer's markets. The purposes of the program are to provide fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey to seniors and increase the consumption of agricultural commodities by expanding or aiding in the development of new farmer's markets and roadside stands. Below: New York District 43 Assembly member Brian Cunningham visited the JCC with Rabbi Mendel Katzman.
