how do you define a sustainable vacation? less emissions less carbon footprint? less waste? these ways although may help to promote a sustainable vacation, but by doing this, we still create unnecessarily waste to destroy our nature slowly. what about we contribute while we are having a holiday, what about we help others as well during a vacation, what about we use our interest/hobby to help others as well as fulfilling our personal needs and interests? wildlife protection and education is one of the way to aid to sustainable vacation. due to our fast growing population, wildlife is losing their place or environment to survive, in order to help our next generation to get to know our nature, preserve, protect and education about wildlife and nature is important.
Southern Otway Landcare Network (SOLN) Who are they? is a voluntary, not for profit, community organisation with skilled staff, volunteers, over 400 members and the ability to make a difference. Based in Australia’s iconic Otway Ranges of Southern Victoria, SOLN plays a central role in the protection and restoration of biodiversity in a flagship region – of national, environmental significance. What do they do? Habitat Loss and Animal Extinction Climate Change restore and protect biodiversity
