Partake of street food concepts to include Asian fusion, Cajun and Creole, Korean, Mediterranean, Mexican, Southern Soul food, Thai, and pizza. An eblast before the date will tell residents what the truck will be. Most allow pre-order of menu items. Credit cards are accepted.
Corte Bella Blood Donation Drive with Vitalant Blood Services
Date: Thursday, October 6 Anacapa Parking Lot Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Cost: FREE EVENT

TAD Presents “Adventures in Paradise” A Tribute to Jimmy Buffet

This will be a wonderful chance to get a head-start on your holiday shopping. You’ll be supporting local businesses too. There will be a wide variety of merchandise available for you to check out. This annual event brings lots of different vendors to our community. Plan to attend in a costume since it will be almost Halloween. Join in the fun!
Jason Love Comedy Night
Date: Friday, November 18 Santa Barbara Room Time: 7:00 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM) Cost: $24 per person
There will be laughter in the social hall as as Carlos Oscar and Don McMillan from LA’s comedy scene travel to Corte Bella to entertain you with clean comedy. This shows never disappoint and we all can use some chuckles these days. Ticket on sale via

Verde Canyon Train Ride
Date: Saturday, November 19 Bus Trip to Verde Canyon Time: Bus departs at 9:45 AM; returns at 6:00 PM Cost: $140 per person (includes transportation and train ride, 1st class coach)
Take the historic train ride from Clarksdale to Perkinsville and back, a four-hour journey through 100 years of history. Ride the train in 1st class coach with a complimentary glass of champagne and appetizers. Cash bar on the coach. Bring your camera and a jacket (it’s cool up there!) Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree
Date: Friday, November 4 to Wednesday, December 16 Fitness Center Christmas Tree
The Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree will be ready on November 4th for you to select your Angel, a disadvantaged child who is waiting for you to make their Christmas a magical one. Each Angel hanging on the tree provides a child’s name and age along with a list of their Christmas gift dreams. Bring the unwrapped gifts back to the tree with the original Angel tag attached before December 16th and the Salvation Army will take care of delivery. Here’s your chance to make a child’s Christmas a very special one. Every year, Corte Bella is amazingly generous – please help continue the trend.
Christmas in the Garden Noches de Las Luminarias Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens
Date: Friday, December 9 Cost: $56 per person (bus transportation, admission to the gardens) Time: 4:30 PM departure; 9:30 PM return
The Desert Botanical Garden will shine bright under 8,000 Luminarias that will light up the night and the Garden’s 50,000 desert plants. There will be live musical entertainment and special food offerings to enjoy during your stroll through the garden’s paths. Tickets on sale via Clubhouse Online on Friday,

TAD’s “So This is Christmas Concert”
Date: Sunday, December 11 Santa Barbara Room Cost: $27 per person Time: 7:00 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM)
Each year at Christmas, TAD Productions brings a wonderful holiday musical program to Corte Bella. Without fail this concert will put you in the holiday spirit for sure. More information regarding the program’s headliners is forthcoming and will be published in the November CB Times and via community elbast.

Date: Wednesday, December 14 Begins in the Anacapa Parking Lot; Around the circle (plus the San Ramon Christmas Street) Time: 5:30 PM line up – parade starts at 6:00 PM Cost: Free
Decorate your golf cart for the season and join in the fun for a real Christmas holiday parade in Corte Bella! Use your imagination to create something special to share with your community. Parade route will encompass the “circle” and through the San Ramon Christmas streets. There will be a prize and bragging rights for the best decorated golf cart. Participants in the parade
should register with Lifestyle Manager, Pam Lawrence, at plawrence@cortebellacca.com.

The wonderful ladies of Smiling Out Loud (SOuL) will be offering wonderful home-baked holiday treats for you to purchase along with many vendors offering their creative selections. This promises to be a Christmas shopping paradise. Mark your calendar and plan to get there early! All proceeds go to support SOuL’s charity assistance activities.
