Introduction The idea for Unfinished Stories came to me while I was sitting at my computer staring at a blank screen. No matter how much I sat there looking, I could not come up with any good ideas to write about –I had writer’s block. I realized that I was probably only one of many other writers out there that suffered from this lack of creativity. So, I decided to come up with a theme-based book that is full of short stories. The unique thing about this book is none of the stories are complete. They all stop in the middle. I am leaving it up to the reader to finish the story.

My first book, “Unfinished Stories,” was all based off my photographs that I had taken over the years. I simply looked at the photo and came up with a story. This time, I decided to use a popular state and road trip in that state to come up with stories.

If you follow each story, it will take you from Los Angeles, California all the way to Fort Bragg, California along one of the most popular road trips, and one of the most beautiful, in the country, Highway One. Each chapter is titled after a town that can be found on Highway One. The stories are all individual, which means, you can read any chapter and any time –no two chapters are related to any other chapter.

I hope you enjoy getting some creative motivation. And I hope you come up with some fantastic second parts to all the stories.

Have fun.

J. Henry
