What is Waste to Energy?

Waste to energy is a process of making electricity from waste materials without causing any damage to the environment. It involves conversion of feedstock into gases by reacting the feedstock at high temperatures without combustion.

∗Feedstock undergoes off-site preparation by specialist suppliers ∗The feedstock now a prepared fuel is further screened and stored on site


Waste to Energy Conversion Process

∗ The prepared fuel is then stored and fed into one of Gasifiers where it is heated under carefully controlled conditions to form a fuel gas ∗ This gas is then passed into a boiler for energy conversion with the resultant steam being sent to a turbine for energy recovery
